We really enjoyed this wine tasting experience. We were able to take our wines outside to enjoy the patio area and beautiful sunshine. The wine samplings were excellent, and the staff was friendly and informative. Bernardus is one of the tasting rooms you must visit.

Owner Ben Pon, made excellent wines, we personally preferred the oaky Chardonny and the signature red 2010. Unfortunenately not all wines can be ordered in Europe

Not disability friendly. However, the wine is on par with what you might expect from the CA coast line. Stayed at the hotel. We hoped they would treat us as wine club members at least for the day since we booked 4 nights with them at more than $500 per night. Our second visit was the same, but we cannot... More

Arrived at the tasting room around 3 PM on a Monday and had the tasting room to ourselves. Very good service and knowledgeable tasting host. Wine was very good. Particularly enjoyed a Bourdeaux blend called Marinus.

We did a pinot noir tasting at Bernadus Winery and Vineyard in Carmel Valley. We enjoyed our tasting, Our favorite pinot noir of the group was 2012 Sierra Mar Pinot Noir. As such, we purchased several bottles. We purchased enough to have a complementary tasting.

We enjoyed a bottle of Marinus 2009 at a local restaurant and decided to visit the tasting room of Bernardus in Carmel Valley. We enjoyed the tasting and purchased several bottles of wine. Given our state laws, we had to ship the wine to ourselves but the staff was kind enough to pack the wine for shipment and direct us... More

The staff at Bernardus never disappoints and the wines are fabulous. I especially like the Chardonnay's and the Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. The Marinus is a red blend that's always tasty. Bernardus is centrally located and has good parking so we usually start our Carmel Valley wine tasting there.

It is a bit of a drive back to Carmel Valley, but worth every inch of the way. Beautiful and warmer than the coast, and rustic. Bernardus does it justice. While their wines are to the higher end of the wines of the area, the tasting lets you select ones that fit your pallet. Very helpful people and the tasting... More
