Can't tell you what a pleasure this drive really is, to begin with I wondered what the fuss was about but as we came across the seascapes it was such a stunning landscape I was bowled over. Only disappointment was outside of golf courses there wasn't much in the way of rest stops

We drove from Monterey to Carmel .Spectacular vegetation and woodland and enduring memories of the wonderful Pacific coastline.

The shortest 17 miles you'll ever drive! The ocean, homes, & scenery (golf courses abound) is indescribable! Have to see it to believe it. They just sold the #1 real estate property to date...$35 million. And don't forget about Pebble Beach Golf Course; stunning & lots of golf history made here.

Beautiful drive but they charge you $10 to do it. Only neighborhood I know of that charges you to get in. Can't really see Pebble Beach golf course but the outside planting seeds look nice.

Yesterday, we drove from San Luis Obispo to Monterey along CA - 1, the Pacific Coastal Highway, so it probably isn't fair to even consider rating the Seventeen Mile Drive, because we found it a bit boring.

Seventeen Mile Drive is a good option for those who may not be good on foot or simply don't want to hike. You still get the beautiful views of the Pacific Coastline but can do the 17 miles driving in your own vehicle with several points to stop and take pictures in between. You will also see gorgeous architecture of... More

Beautiful views on a lovely drive. It costs $10 to take this drive but if you spend $30 at Pebble Beach for food or in the pro shop you get it back. We stopped along the drive to see the scenery and then had a great lunch at Penble Beach air the resturant overlooking the 18th green. Would recommend this... More

This is an awesome drive. The views are spectacular. Watch out for the bicyclers who are enjoying the ride too. Ended up in Carmel at a great beach. If you have some time to spend here it's worth it. Also nice to walk around and see the shops in Carmel.

It's a really nice drive that will take you to many beautiful spots. The areas along the coast are the most interesting.

Hooked onto the 17 mile drive from the Monterey Entrance. Everything is well marked. Great views. Would recommend if you are going to Carmel.
