They told me the Pacific was blue, and they were not wrong. It was all that I could have imagined, as I had seen it in my dreams. Words fail to describe the wonderful view this place offers to visitors. A sublime drive along the Pacific coast with breathtaking view of the ocean is surely not something to be missed.... More

It's and exclusive area Pebble Beach for the richest of the rich, but the let us common folk pay to drive through their paradise for the day, long as you get out by nightfall. Very kind of them as the sites are quite beautiful... that being said be sure to go to Los Pinos park nearby as well for a... More

Most people have heard of the "Drive'. It's a drive of meandering streets that wind through the mansions, past the equestrian center, world famous gold course and of course the Lodge Take the drive stopping along the way, then park at the PB Lodge and have a drink and perhaps a meal. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.... More

My wife and I went to Carmel for our anniversary and naturally we had to take-in 17-Mile Drive. The drive is of course spectacular with phenomenal views of the coast and beaches. We had one complaint which was that stop 2 or 3 on the map was for an overlook with "spectacular views of the Monterrey peninsula". In fact the... More

17 miles drive was definitely worth our time. It was not real busy and the houses and mansions were quite unique. Each mile we drove it seemed the ocean waves were bigger. We saw several surfers along this drive.

One of the most beautiful spots on earth. This is my fourth trip and I still am fascinated by it. There are always deer on the golf courses at dusk.

Yes it's 17 Miles. Yes it costs money to drive on the road. Yes it is worth every penny. Whether it's a calm weather day or a stormy day, you will not be disappointed. In fact, the weather was ugly the last time I want (January 2016) and it might be the best time I saw the sights. The ocean... More

Windy rode, pretty views. Lots of tourists cruising around on the weekend, quickly pulling off the rode for pictures. Drive cautiously!
