Very attractive venue with comfortable seating, good views, and excellent acoustics. Bathrooms are somewhat limited and hard to locate. Saw Boz Skaggs here--he was 45-min late and there was never any kind of announcement to advise the audience of what was going on and give them an opportunity to stretch or go to the restroom...this would have been appreciated. We... More

Loved the acoustics and the environment, I would go to any event here over many other places. My family and I had a great time.

A plethora of cultural events take place in this beautiful complex that graces the main area of town. A wonderful venue to attend whichever cultural event hits your fancy.

I attended 3 concerts at the Sunset Cultural Center during the 2016 Carmel annual Bach Festival. The venue was superb. There is not a bad seat in the house. I was surprised how nice row 3 was. It was not too close. I also has a seat near the back. But it was fine too. This is a great venue... More

This is a beautiful venue, especially for an evening concert. It's got lovely courtyards with low lighting and lots of plants and the atmosphere is really magical. We attended the opening night of the Bach Festival which was fantastic!

This was our first time attending the Bach fest at the Sunset Center. What a treat! The center is a beautiful venue and all seats are great. We sat in row "n", and this was definitely close enough to see the orchestra and enjoy the music. It's not a stuffy music event. We could enjoy it without any binoculars. Afterwards... More

We have visited Carmel a number of times, but never paid attention to who was playing at Sunset Center ... until May, 2015. We noticed one of our favorite performers would be in Carmel, and decided to time our trip so that we could attend the concert. GREAT DECISION! Of course we did a lot of our "regular" Carmel activities,... More
