The breakfast spot, From Scratch, is one of our favorite eateries in the area. The food is fresh; the service is good to very good. The gardens in the Barnyard are exceptional throughout the year and alone are worth the visit

The Barnyard greets you with a tall windmill. It's woodsy and rustic look is welcoming. The shops there are worth walking through; so it is a typical shopping center, but with style. There are several good restaurants in the Barnyard. I have always like Robata's for Japanese food and From Scratch for breakfast. The Barnyard is also noted for its... More

For the area this shopping center kind of falls short. it seems to always be empty and the restaurant choices aren't very good compared to the abundance of choices all around

Not much in the way of good food. Right next to Carmel Mission Inn. Weird concept where all the buildings are barns

This isn't what I'd consider your typical shopping center. Wasn't alot of people around and it's alot of specialty stores. I did enjoy the consignment stores and bought a few things. The food there looked good and had a wide variety.

The Barnyard is really beautiful due to the colorful landscape. There is always plenty of parking and not too crowded with tourists.

Filled with a variety of shops. Also food is available. Take time to not only visit the shops, but just enjoy walking around The Barnyard.

It used to be a small shopping area with trendy shops, consisting of a number of renovated barns, but now is mostly offices with a few shops. "From Scratch," our favorite breakfast place in Carmel is still there, serving the same excellent "eggs piperade."

We had a group of 8 and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The food was worth the wait. All the meals had a beautiful presentation. Yummy. Must visit while you are in Carmel!

I treated my girlfriend to a Latte and a Napolean, while having a Cappuccino with a Raspberry Snail....well worth the stop.
