This facility is awesome. You feel welcomed and the volunteers working on the facility are awe! Had lunch, some practice and of course, a round of golf. Lunch is alright. Practice area is close to perfect but the grass tee on the driving range was closed so a big minus there. The course is challenging for all levels of players.... More

hard to believe this is a municipal golf course - I have been to private clubs not nearly this well run. The course was in great shape and has many beautiful and challenging holes. Staff were friendly and play moved along well thanks to well-placed but polite and encouraging marshals. Only minor criticism was the limited menu in the grill... More

I must say this course is among my top ten golf favorites!! We enjoyed the challenge this course gave us, loved the greens!! The course was pretty dry,but we expected it with the drought and all!! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating with all our needs. We did not bring our clubs, so we had to rent and were... More

Every year we (8 this year) take a one week golf trip and base ourselves at the Sycuan Golf Resort in El Cajon. When deciding which courses to play, we include one that we are visiting for the first time. The Crossings at Carlsbad was our choice this year. It was a 60 minute drive heading west and then north... More

This is MY kind of Legoland! The Crossings at Carlsbad is a stunning golf course across from Legoland and the Hilton MarBrisa resort in Carlsbad. Looking out from our villa, we could see the stately and handsome clubhouse on the adjacent hill, with a great view of the par 3 9th hole and all its challenging bunkers. The staff is... More

beautiful and sunny, breezy in the afternoon. Staff in the pro shop was very nice and the young men outside with the carts were very helpful. Course is challenging but not too tough. Very scenic around every corner. Time of play was about 5 hours and worth every penny.

We enjoyed the reduced rates because of aeration and loved the course. Staff is VERY welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Great vistas all through the course. My wife appreciated the fact that the women's tees are very friendly too!

The Crossings is a really nice course with some amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. Hole #10 is a fun one but be sure to stay straight. They have a oversized putting green and a wedge/sand area for practice. The driving range is similar to what you'd see elsewhere, however, you hit off artificial grass laid over concrete that doesn't... More

I played the course this Tuesday and was fascinated by what it must have cost to build. The property is huge and there are 7 miles of cart paths. I did a little research and found out that this may be the most expensive municipal golf course ever built and I recommend that any golfer should check this out. As... More
