This winery doesn't grow the grapes, but the two-medal winner at the 2000 Orange County Fair makes an excellent red wine, and its Zinfandel is a big seller.

We happened upon this place on it's opening day. Staff was very friendly and answered many questions for us. They roast some beans on site. I had a latte and an espresso which were both delicious and went great with the croissant and lemon cookie! Stop in if you are nearby!

Nice and reasonably priced. Ten dollars for a tasting of six wines. Though not expensive, my friend & i couldn't drink that much because we had to drive. They let us share & we ended up buying 2 bottles. Only thing is we both like sweet wines and their sweeter wines are cider-based. Still quite good. It would be really... More

Enjoyed the tastings and left with 3 different, enjoyable, inexpensive wines. Even while the tasting area was undergoing renovation to double the floor space, the staff were attentive and informative.

I was in the area for business and while heading out to dinner one night a co-worker and myself stumbled upon Witch Creek. We went in to check it out and they had a tasting deal for $10 for 6 tastings off of their wine list. I had all reds and an apple cider variation. All great. The person behind... More

Hubby and I have very different wine -- I like sweet wines and he's a "red" man. This winery pleased us both which is no small feat. Tastings were reasonable and so were the wine prices. Everyone was attentive and knew the product. Will definitely go back.

I am very sad to write this, but if this place doesn't get its act together, it's finished. We have been in here off and on since 2008, and we were members for about 2 years. The staff has always been terrific and this continues to be the case. They are under new ownership and doing some remodeling which will... More

The rating of four is a combo of three for the winery and four because one wine they make, the grapes are sourced from the Guadalupe Valley in Mexico, about five hours south. We've tasted here numerous times over 10+ years. If you're a cat lover, they have various wine labels that have cats (like water color paintings) depicted in... More

Close to beach, great wine and nice people. For 10 dollars a wine tasting, it's worth a trip if you are in the area

We came to pick up our shipment. We had a tasting and then signed up for the 5 course wine dinner that night. It was so fun and delish. Perfect atmosphere and loved learning about the wines. highly recommend

Talk about great wine! For $10, we sampled 4 of some of best red wines in recent memory. Minimal but tasteful décor, knowledgeable, friendly staff.
