Great Park- nice playground for little kids- Great place for soccer, basketball or baseball, Great place to walk with views and stairs if you want.

Whether you like baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, tennis or just hanging on the swings, Poinsettia Park has it. The oversized artificial grass soccer field is usually jammed with teams but often has some areas open for throwing a football or running sprints. The tennis courts are nice and not always occupied. Nothing I didn't dislike. It was fun for families. We walked to the park with the family. Spent some time enjoying the shaded areas and laying some games.

A great community park, conveniently located with plenty of parking. Great ball fields, soccer field, numerous tennis courts, childrens' play area with slide and climbing apparatus, restrooms on two sides of the park, basketball courts, plenty of open grassy areas for picnics and walking areas. We live within walking distance of one of Carlsbad's best parks. It's a huge place with tennis courts, basketball courts, softball fields, soccer fields, lots of spacious grass fields, playgrounds for the little guys and plenty of parking.
