This is a park with plenty of walks and beautiful grounds as well as the home of Leo Carrillo, a star of the Cisco Kid and other Hollywood films. We had a docent who was working the ranch home. He was so helpful with stories...More

There is a lot of history here, and it's a quiet and beautiful spot, that once was in the 'wilderness' and now is at the edge of the city. Worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something to do for free

Enjoyed the walk and the history of the area. The interpretive center was under construction when I went but will add to people's knowledge of who once lived there.

Check out this historical site. Go to the visitors center and hear about Leo Carillo- movie star and how he brought his cronies here years ago. Rustic beautiful place with lots of history and peacocks roaming around. And it's FREE.

We lived by this park for several years before going to check it out. We have been back several times since. It's free and there is so much history to see while walking the grounds. Highly recommend you visit this place at least once.

Peacocks! A rare white peacock! I’m grateful they preserved this home, and surrounding grounds. It’s a nice visit anytime of day with lots of shade. The grounds are well maintained, the property is beautiful, and you can visit many times and always see something new....More

They would like the nature walk around the grounds and may like some of the "old buildings/ranch". Not a lot of things for kids such as rides. There are free range peacocks that some kids get a real kick out of.
