This Arnold Palmer designed 18 hole golf course is in a lovely venue near the Batiquitos Lagoon in Aviara at Carlsbad, California. Green fees are $230 per person which is not cheap but the course is challenging so bring some extra balls and your A game! Good place for corporate or friendly game of golf.

Been here several times and I must say it is one of my favorites in San Diego County. Course is challenging but fair. Staff here is outstanding.

Aviara is a First Class experience staffed by the most knowledgeable and competent people who work hard to assure your enjoying what is the most beautiful course in the county. A Palmer designed course, it is always in wonderful condition, challenging and fun. Its not at all surprising that the LPGA has extended their contract for the Kia Classic for... More

Absolutely one of the most picturesque course I've ever played. It's like playing in the middle of a beautiful botanical garden. Beware the rough. Great staff!

We played at Aviara the day after the Kia Classic, so the course played tougher than imaginable, super thick and long rough, and lightning fast greens, but with the help of our caddie we made it around the course without too many lost balls. Had a blast, the course is absolutley beautiful. I can't think of a single bad thing... More

Absolutely FRIENDLIEST staff!! We enjoyed the driving range 3 days in a row for a very minimal fee. The instructors were truly caring and focused on your needs. The kids LOVED lessons from Hannah - who kept everyone smiling. Thanks for a great experience!!!

I came out here for the first time yesterday. I've heard wonderful things about the course from friends and glad I had the chance to check it out. Probably the high price of $230 per round has kept me away. My friend suggested that a foursome play here a few days after the Kia Open. They had a "tournament" deal... More

The LPGA is having their tournament here this week and the course is in great shape. The rough is high and the greens are fast. A lot of break in the putts, not many flat spots in these greens. A must play if you are visiting San Diego. Hole 18 is a beast, you will be glad when you are... More

My wife and I booked a 7 day couples golf package at Aviara Golf Club Dec. 3 2015. This package was very well priced and allowed us the luxury of playing at such a beautiful course. We did not stay at the resort. We frequently travel from our home province of British Columbia and have played golf all over the... More

I so wanted to love this course. Beautiful but marred terribly by a stunningly slow pace. Friendly starters, but zero marshal assistance. At one point there were five groups on a par three. At the end we did complain. The offered us a great chocolate chip cookie! I'd like to say I'd go back but it was so not worth... More
