Stayed in 1938 Planter's Bunglow in Upper Surianelle of Harrison's Malayalam Ltd (HML) Two days of immersive experience of a bygone era spiced with tea-tasting, unforgetable jeep safari(not for the faint hearted) to Kollukumalai view point wrapped in mist and trekking through the high range tea gardens.
The halmark of the vacation was the hospitality of New Ventures Division of HML made memorable by excellent coordination by NS Vinod, Ashishdev, Franklin and sumptous spread by butler Selvaraj and his assistants !
" A must visit " is this Tea Town of Upper Surianelle especially if you want to unwind and taste an era that only you heard of in books, stories and movies !!

While the road itself and the ride up to the top of the mountainous area is one of the more difficult places to drive, I am still in awe of the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen! Whether by cycle Jeep or anything else this is an arduous adventure well worth daring! The destination was an incredible journey to accomplish.
