We did a fantastic circular hike, starting at Malchishua. It was about 12km with almost 500m of ascent.
The 360° views were amazing, including south towards the northern Shomrom which you don't really see on other hikes in the area.
The other key highlight was the beautiful flowers in bloom.
The only downside was that when we were there it was a week or two early for the famous Gilboa irises.

Nice and easy walk down the hill
The trees and the view is beautiful.
The kids enjoyed going down on some slippery rocks

We walked a short distance to picnic tables under a pavilion. There were a few very pretty flowers (in January), and a beautiful view. We didn't stay long, but we stayed long enough to take several pictures and just breath in the beauty of the place and talk about the Biblical significance of Mount Gilboa.
