Annupuri is 1 of the 4 ski resorts that make up the "Niseko UNited" area the others being Hirafu Village, Niseko Village, and Hanazono. Annupuri is by far our favorite because 1) Its less crowded, has less people due to less transportation options and accomodation....More

The snow conditions are good. But there are lots of people here. We were first up to the top on a 10 cm powder day and by the time we had done a couple of runs it was so cut up that the snow was...More

Skiing Annupuri is amazing! What's really fabulous is that you can ski across from Upper Hirafu. Suits beginners through to advanced skiers and the gondola gives a great birds eye view over the ski fields. On days when the conditions are less than their best,...More

Fantastic resort for experiencing Japow (Japanese Powder) Well organised with great locations for food at the bottom of the slopes. Includes night snowboarding/skiing under flood lights. Within walking distance of the town as well. Great off-piste riding, but make sure you are off-piste trained and...More

The slope is good for immediate and beginner. Advanced Skier will feel a bit bored doing skiing here unless going to the top of the mountain. There are ski lift that bring Skiers to advance slope at Hirafu side of the Mountain.

This is our third visit to ski in Hokkaido within the space of 3 months. We skied at this resort with our 2 children on the last day of our trip. The family and green runs are probably some of the easiest in Niseko. The...More

The slopes were good for beginners but got to watch out for the crowd which can get a little overwhelming.

I loved this area the most in Niseko, the slopes are good for beginner, it’s wide & more friendly comparing to Hirafu.

This resort has slightly different exposure to the elements than it’s neighbours, which means when it’s wet and heavy at Niseko or Grand Hirafu this place still turns it on. This is part of the Niseko ski group and you can buy an all mountain...More

Before visiting Niseko I heard its children unfriendly place. Apparently they were wrong. We have 19 month toddler, and this place is amazing for families with kids! Many snowy slopes, we went there with baby in carrier, many food options, impossible to get lost. The...More

When in Niseko, if you want to be out of the crowds, go to Annupuri. Quaint and lovely resort, and the best for backcountry

Quite a quiet area. Decent runs and restaurants at the bottom of the slopes. Main lift station can get a little crowded in peak periods.

Usually, all official ski activities will start mid Dec. It may start snowing in end Nov or early Dec but it may not be sustained and many of the snow activities outlets may not be opened.
