My friend and I visited Bhutan from Australia for a week in May 2017 and we had an absolutely wonderful time! We came across Bhutan Dynasty travel when researching the options on the government tourism site and we are very happy we chose them as our guide on this trip. Mr Pelden and his team are very professional and knowledgabe but they are also very friendly and a lot of fun. What we loved most about our exploration of Bhutan were not only the stunning views and incredible monasteries but also the lovely people who live there. The feeling of being welcome, the sicerity and beauty of the people, their humility, compassion, wisdom and sense of humor showed us the true happiness of the place. Having Kencho and Tek as our companions on this trip made all the difference, not only in the terms of being our driver and guide but as becoming our friends. It's an experience we will always remember with great warmth, a place where we felt as guests seeing friends and not just as visitors. We highly recommend Bhutan Dynasty travel for your exploration of this extraordinary country.

Wild and beautifull nature, cute farms hooked at more than 3000 meters on mountain slopes and of course the kindness of Bhutaneses people's. Our guide knew every thing about Bhutan places, culture, buddhisme and gived us lot of explanation and stories. On the road the expertise of our driver was more than usefull. So it was one of our best travel experience, thanks a lot to Pelden and Dynasty Travel.

We remember that it was the best amazing time in our life every single moment is Bhutan. We met Bhutan Dynasty travel agency through Bhutan government webpage, and send email several time. We asked a lot..because not much informations about Bhutan and Mr.Pelden who is the manager(or boss!!) of this agency replied very sincerely and steadily. We got many helps from him and his staff from planning step to ending. We met and understood beautiful Bhutan, deep culture, people's life and wonderful nature..It was possible because of them. Not only tour and sightseeing but also they gave us many kind of answers about Bhutan. We are truly missing the days of Bhutan...If you design to visit Bhutan for your vacation, do not hesitate..just contact to them and make your all visiting memorable.

We had a marvellous 16 day cultural sight-seeing trip to Central & western Bhutan arranged with Pelden from Bhutan Dynasty Travel in October 13 sorry trip advisor won't accept the date. Our whole trip was fantastic & so well organised there were no hitches at all. We fell in love with the Bhutanese people, culture & country. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody & Pelden really went out of his way to make this a holiday of a lifetime for us. We wanted a holiday based a a standard cultural sightseeing package but with an extra - we wanted to retake our wedding vows whilst in Bhutan in a traditional ceremony. We arranged the places we wanted to see beforehand & left the rest to Pelden, who really did us proud. Places visited - Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Gangtey, Trongsa, Bumthang & all the Lhakangs, Dzongs, Temples etc. We were lucky enough to be at the Jambay Lhakang fire festival - an amazing sight to Western eyes - a large arch of cypress tree branches set alight in the dark & the crowds running through time & time again to be purged of their sins. We hiked to Tigers Nest but over a 2 day period so that we visited the Ugyen Tshemo temple right on the top of the cliff above Tigers Nest. We stayed in the home of the temple caretaker overnight, then descended the next day via a local track on the opposite side to the tourist trail & visited a tiny temple adjacent to Tigers Nest - the first foreigners to do so that year. Highly recommended if you don't mind heights, want to talk to an experience meditator & don't mind the toilet being the forest. Our wedding ceremony had had so much work put into it, we really felt so lucky to have experienced it. It took place at a farmhouse in a remote village 14km from Jambay. We arrived the evening before to be greeted by a traditional tent & al the approach wasdecorated with welcome banners. The locals performed a welcome dance around a bonfire & we enjoyed a lovely traditional feast. We were up early - as Pelden had already taken us to a lama astrologer who had said the wedding should be between 9&10 am & were helped very graciously into our traditional gho/kira & boots. The valley lama had left his meditation hut in the forest to perform the ceremony in the alter room of the house with 5 gomchen (lay monks) accompanying him. There were initial prayers then Bob was taken in procession to the next farmhouse to return in traditional manner. The rest of the ceremony took about 2 hours & was watched by all the local people who squeezed into the alter room. At the end every villager presented us with a greeting scarf & envelope with some money, making us feel very humble indeed. After the ceremony there was a big lunchtime feast for everyone, lots of the village people had been busy preparing food all morning, then the afternoon was taken up with darts & archery matches, followed by a cultural programme of singing & dancing from the local dance school. This was just like a spectacular miniature festival in its own right & was enjoyed by all, especially as the villagers are unable to get to the local festival because of its remoteness. After this, another massive feast & much local dancing & singing until late! We managed to talk to several of the locals, who spoke excellent English & felt so at home with them we didn't want to leave. It's hard to pin-point the highlight of our trip, the ceremony was amazing & will be with us forever, but each day had something wonderful to offer, young monks learning their prayers, chanting, the art & history & just being with the people. Pelden organised a wonderful trip & we can't thank him enough, but thanks also to our guide Tek, always happy, helpful & smiling & Sangay our driver, who never seemed to be anything other than relaxed & happy & thoroughly enjoyed his darts & dancing!! I would recommend Bhutan to anyone & would love to go back.
