Highly recommend as this tour was very interesting, informative and one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Pablo is very passionate and knowledgeable about cacao growth, history of chocolate and modern chocolate production. You will leave the tour knowing what good chocolate should taste like!

The best hot chocolate and vegan as made with water. Very natural and interesting tour. Got to try chocolate from most raw state to locally produced bars and the fruit as it is in the pod. Really enjoyed the tour and ethically conscious business.

I have visited La Anita twice - and have truly enjoyed every minute of it. Beside the interesting discussion on the history of chocolate and the tour of the production process, I find this institution to be inspiring. Specifically, Pablo and Anna's passion, attention to detail and a clearly unwavering commitment to perfection can be seen in the carefully manicured land and exquisite amenities. If you have the option to enjoy a lunch I would highly recommend it - the staff create delicious meals (and the ginger tea is wonderful). Also - shout out to Freddy for contributing to a delightful experience as well.

The tour was informative, interesting, and it made me more appreciative of chocolate. Pablo is passionate about his work, and it's clear that everyone at Finca La Anita takes pride in what they do. The samples were very generous, and the best chocolate I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Highly recommended!

We were a large mixed group of 9 preteens, teens and adults, all of whom enjoyed the tour. Pablo took us through the production of chocolate, from seedlings to finished chocolate bars in some detail with a good dose of history and economy thrown in. His passionate and deeply knowledgeable tour was fascinating and was well illustrated by the opportunity to taste the product at every step of the process. Finca la Anita is beautiful and well worth the trip. We came away convinced that high quality chocolate is a health food. Will make me feel less bad when I reach for a late night dark chocolate snack in the future.
