I went to spend the day here while on a work trip. I chose not to do the tubing ( which I did hear was fun from our students); and only elected to participate going to the hot springs. There were so many people, the...More

Six of us took the day tour of the park. It included Horseback Riding, Whitewater Intertubing, Zip Lining and Hot Springs. The guides did an excellent job of keeping the whole group moving in a fun but exciting way. One of our group was a...More

We went on the horseback riding followed by tubing down the Rio Negro and they were a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The horseback riding took you through a nice meandering path up to a plateau that provided a beautiful view! They then...More

Our family was very disappointed with canyoning and hot springs. We returned late from canyoning (which didn’t involve rapalleling but rather lower into the canyon), so the hot springs experience lasted only 5 minutes since it closed at 6:00. We felt it was a lot...More

This tour includes 4 activities - zip line/rappelling, horseback riding, tubing and hot springs/mud bath plus lunch. We were there on a very busy day and they did a good job keeping things fairly organized. All activities were a lot of fun - especially the...More

We have done waterfall rappelling a few times near Arenal, so compared to those experiences this tour was much too short, a bit strange in terms of activities, and had below-average execution. I would imagine the other activities (e.g., tubing) are fine, but don't waste...More

We enjoyed a private tour of a nature trail, serpentarium, and Butterfly Garden. Our guide, Harold (the Tiger) was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His love of Costa Rica and all it's natural wonders came across clearly on the tour. He also loves his job and...More

I went on 2 different days for half-day trips with a couple of friends. We ended up doing the river tubing, horseback riding, waterfall cliff jumping and the canopy tour. We had lots of fun and everything was well organized and safe.

Although the horseback riding & tubing is good, don't waste your time or money on the zip line. There is a repel part halfway through, and it clogged up the whole tour, waiting on platforms. Once I finally got to the repel platform, and elected...More

Hi Jim ! Yes, you can show up later and they will take you by bus to the tubing area, instead of getting there with the horses. Another option is to get there in the morning, do the zip lining first, and then the tubing... More
