My wife and I, are in town this weekend, for the Art and Wine festival, in Cambria. I am an owner, of several art galleries myself, and an avid art collector, in the US and abroad. We went, into what we thought, was an artists studio, invited by Ricardo. My wife asked some well intentioned questions, and was called stupid, and then Ricardo went into a horrible diatribe, of American people and how stupid he thinks they are. He might not realize, California, is in fact part of the United States, and if he is a legal US citizen, which I doubt, but if he is, he in fact called him self stupid. He is an undesirable, as well his art. He is senza talento .

Riccardo Spizzamiglio is a wonderfully gifted artist working out of a warren of spaces in an unusual house on main street in Cambria, California. I highly recommend a visit to this unique studio. Riccardo is personable and passionate about his work and eager to show it to visitors who happen by. You will be totally captivated by the beauty and uniqueness of his sculptures and I can almost guarantee your visit will be unforgettable. There is just something about the man and his work that will leave you knowing you have just met someone incredibly special.

Where do I begin? Knowing what I know I'm surprised he doesn't charge admission for entry and a walking tour of his masterpieces. The passion behind Riccardo's art and the intricacies of his moving sculptures are like nothing I've ever seen. The motivations behind each piece are sincere and I was privileged to have Riccardo walk my friends and I through the gallery. Enter with an open mind and a great attitude and you will be blown away. This is a special place and should be a landmark when visiting Cambria, and if you can't take home a massive sculpture, ask about his prints!

Also, I was mostly compelled to create an account to write the review after seeing the negative reviews. If you had a bad experience here then it's merely just a reflection of the attitude you walked in with.

This place is an amazing experience, if you allow it.

Ricardo was absolutely lovely, his hospitality was over the top. He is nothing short of genuine. Joe and I were so honored that he took the time to show us and tell us about all his insanely BEAUTIFUL masterpieces. I mean. Wow. All of his work is absolutely incredible. I wish I could buy every single piece. We will make it back and take something with us next time, I don't think I can live without a piece of his artwork, now that I've seen and touched it.

We enjoyed visiting Mr. Spizzamiglio in his gallery. The pieces are absolutely amazing; years of planning creates a kinetic sculpture that twists and turns and forms an image and then dissolves into another image as your imagination begins to play. The artist took time to show us the pieces and explain the inspiration behind the art. Very inspiring and truly a nice experience to spend some time with a true artist. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo and had a delightful visit with him. He graciously showed me around his studio. His sculptures are unique and amazing. His art is quite original and inspiring. He is an amazing artist and artisan! I loved the ambience of his shop, both inside and out.

Riccardo is a truly gifted artist. He is out of the mode of old 17th century European artists, and is truly a gift to the Cambria area. . His sculptures are very beautiful and are worth every cent of the small price that he charges for them. I truly wish that there were more Riccardo s in this world.

Very original paintings and sculptures. We just bought our first piece and I know it won't be the last. Riccardo is a one of a kind guy, very full of life, passionate and you can tell his art comes from his heart.

Outstanding display of ego by a not totally unskilled artisan in a nice studio in the heart of Cambria's West Village.
