Informative Visit
Feb 2020
We went on the spur of the moment because it is a short distance from the Seabee Museum. This is an incredible place! We had a tour with a Docent named John and he gave us so much information and answered so many questions. I enjoyed seeing the PBJ-1J MBII Semper Fi, knowing how many years and how much love was put into restoration!

Just spent a morning here. One word passion. These boys are simply passionate about their Collection. A warm welcome and nothing was too much to share their knowledge. Thank you

A trip to the Air Force Museum.
Nov 2019
An interesting place to visit is the Air Force Museum located at the Camarillo Airport. It contains an interesting collection of WW II items and aircraft. I observed a P 51, a Supermarine and other aircraft plus various smaller items. Several of the aircraft are in flyable condition including a B25. The "old timers" will be happy to give you a tour and explain the collection. It makes for an interesting visit.

A must see!!!
Oct 2019
This small but mighty museum is awesome. So much to read and see and some airplanes are on display. Even more, a knowledgable docent will take you out to the runway to see other planes. Very exciting!!!

A True Aviation Wonderland!
Oct 2018
This is one of the true aviation wonderlands in the country, if not the world!

Beautiful Warbirds, all lovingly restored (or being restored) and you get your very own docent tour with a gentleman who knows his way around these beauties. You can even take a ride in these wonderful aircraft for a modest fee.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, go and enjoy!

Good little museum!
Aug 2019
My husband and I stopped in while on a holiday near Santa Barbara. He enjoyed all the well put together displays, jets, and information on what we were looking at. His favourite was the engine found in the hills years after a crash had occurred.
We happened to be there the week before an air show so we caught one of the planes being started up after it received an oil change. That was pretty cool.
The docent was well informed but a bit long winded. He didn't catch our cues when we wanted to move on.
All in all a great little museum!

Hidden gem museum of working WWII aircraft
Aug 2019
History buffs and plane enthusiasts must go to this hidden gem of a museum that kids and history buffs like a like. While there stop by either the WayPoint Cafe or Pizzeria Bianco Rosso nearby and searchable here for a great lunch or dinner.

Reunion, field trip and party venue
Feb 2019 • Friends
A great place to have a gathering. Our school gala and a squadron reunion were held there, and the assistance provided was super! They also helped when I coordinated an assignment for high school students. A visit beforehand is invaluable to tour the displays. The volunteers perform an admirable service, and when available are quite helpful. A true gem!

12 cynlinder P-51 Mustang never sounded so AWESOME
Mar 2019 • Family
Besides the Mustang, see a ZERO, SPITFIRE, a couple B-25's (Navy) and many other very interesting things. Go on, get off your butt and go see some history, then eat at the little restaurant and watch the planes take off and land.
