This is one of the true aviation wonderlands in the country, if not the world! Beautiful Warbirds, all lovingly restored (or being restored) and you get your very own docent tour with a gentleman who knows his way around these beauties. You can even take...More

My husband and I stopped in while on a holiday near Santa Barbara. He enjoyed all the well put together displays, jets, and information on what we were looking at. His favourite was the engine found in the hills years after a crash had occurred....More

History buffs and plane enthusiasts must go to this hidden gem of a museum that kids and history buffs like a like. While there stop by either the WayPoint Cafe or Pizzeria Bianco Rosso nearby and searchable here for a great lunch or dinner.

A great place to have a gathering. Our school gala and a squadron reunion were held there, and the assistance provided was super! They also helped when I coordinated an assignment for high school students. A visit beforehand is invaluable to tour the displays. The...More

Docents are well-informed. Place is fun, historical and even inspirational. Well-done volunteers. I always take out of town visitors to see the Museum...most love it.

Besides the Mustang, see a ZERO, SPITFIRE, a couple B-25's (Navy) and many other very interesting things. Go on, get off your butt and go see some history, then eat at the little restaurant and watch the planes take off and land.

Nice small museum where you can view vintage WWII planes. A donation is asked for admission. The guides are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The planes are viewed outside in hangers. There's also artifacts to view inside. Nothing great but enjoyable. WWII enthusiasts will enjoy it more.

We had the most enjoyable and informative visit here. Our first time, not expecting too much, but the exhibits were amazing. Javier, our volunteer docent, knew these planes inside out. He really enjoyed passing on his information, as much as we enjoyed listening to him....More
