    Not your typical Napa winery (in the best way!)
    I loved visiting last time I was out in CA, fun and laid back vibe - and I was able to snag a few extra bottles I didn’t have to take home with me! I’ve been part of the MADE club for a couple years and I love it. Tank has awesome wines, and really distinctive label art if you’re into that. Wines are unique, great value, and this is definitely not your run of the mill Napa establishment - casual, great energy, and the team are super fun and friendly. Highly recommend either a visit or to join the club if you’re not local.

    Tank was one of the coolest experiences in Napa! Everyone was so friendly and the red wines were delectable. I have had a Tank Winery Membership for nearly 5 years and order extras regularly. Their red wines are top notch along with the customer service!

    Great place to let your hair down and enjoy wonderful non-traditional blends in a relaxed old garage atmosphere. If that’s your vibe, TANK winery is definitely your cup of tea. A MUST stop every time I’m in Calistoga. 👍🍷

    What a cool wine philosophy
    Scheduled a rainy Sunday morning tasting, and Tank Garage was a fabulous ray of sunshine. Our small family group was set up in the speakeasy and tasted about 8 different offerings while learning about their "one run and done" winemaking philosophy and how they source unique grape varietals. Joined the Made wine club. Got the t-shirt. Can't wait for my first shipment to arrive.

    Great stop off the beaten path
    Tank garage is hip without being pretentious and irreverent in all of the best ways. Their team is knowledgeable but not stuffy and the wine... always changing and always good. One of my favorite stops in the Napa valley. I highly recommend if you are looking for great wine off the beaten path.

    Serendipitous visit!
    This place was amazing! Not only was the wine great, it was an incredibly unique experience. My daughter and I dropped by, on the way to a family wedding, and it was a highlight! We joined the wine club and continue to receive great wines throughout the year.

    The tasting room was very nice. The staff was friendly and very knowledgable about the wines they were serving. Love the wine, the creative artwork on the labels is an added bonus. Will go back next time we are in Calistoga.

Tank Winery was a fun, different and relaxed atmosphere. The wines are unique and inventive and not like any others you will taste in Napa Valley. If you like one don’t pass it up because they likely won’t have it ever again. The vintage garage/gas station setting is so fun!

Amazing wine with a wizard creating the labels

Amazing wine and such a "cool", unique vibe at the winery. Five years ago, we passed by Tank while driving through the area and it quickly became our favorite stop. We loved hearing about and tasting all the different wines; not to mention, the labels on the bottles are incredible - so fun and such amazing artwork.
Don't miss out on checking them out! Lucky for us, we signed up to be a part of the Tank Club and so still get to experience their new and old releases.

This is one of my all time favorite wineries. It has become a staple on our annual girls trips. We didn't discover Tank until 2018 and thank god we did. I love the unique blends, the amazing art work on the bottles and the venue is hands out my favorite for that unique tasting experience... Who doesn't love an old garage with vintage motorcycles, amazing staff, and live music?

Tank Garage Winery - the no BS place to be!

Tank Garage is the spot to go if you want to try some amazing, unique blends in an eclectic environment that flips the traditional image of Napa on its head. The tasting was fantastic and we were able to sample some wines that were outside of our norm, in a good way. The, staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the authenticity and overall vibe was a much needed change of pace from the traditional (read: boring) wineries sprinkled throughout the valley. We can't wait to go back!

Great Find!!

My wife and I booked a B & B in Calistoga in late July. As we traveled north up Highway 128 thru wine country we passed many of the mega wineries that looked very inviting. We had already decided that this trip we would look for some smaller wineries. As we drove thru Calistoga we noticed Tank Garage Winery(a refurbished gas station) right off the Highway We booked a tasting for the next morning at 11:00. Upon our arrival we were met by Heath, our wine tender. Due to Covid we were seated outside in front of the beautiful tasting room that used to be the gas station garage. Heath was very informative and friendly. He told us about the history of the winery and went into detail about all the wines we tasted. We ended up joined their wine club. Heath also gave us great information on other small wineries in the area and some great tips on places to eat.

Cool Alternative to Traditional Napa Experience

Have been wine club members for a couple years now. Made our 1st visit in November 2021. The backroom experience was pretty cool. Is an alternative to stuffy, cab / merlot only driven places in Napa. The unique Italian inspired blends, interesting varietals, and limited / small batch releases - phenomenal

Great Winery

I went the 1st time to meet with my niece and her husband. I loved the façade and fell in love with the wines and relaxing atmosphere. They completely changed the way I look at blends, and our server was amazing!! I joined and haven't looked back!! They are always introducing new varietals and the passion for the craft shines through in the wine, the artwork, and the customer service. I love being a member.

Fun and funky

We were looking for something a bit different while in the area. We had done plenty of other tastings and my wife found Tank. The tasting price was reasonable so why not. Plus, anytime I get to drive by Gott’s is an excuse to stop ;)
It was a warmer day so we sat outside the under the tents and enjoyed four very different wines including a sparkling. Bought a Spanish type wine that was very good and enjoyed most of the tastings. Probably need to go back to get my head around what is not your typical blend. Still, a cool vibe is what you get. People are friendly and it is a relaxed sip.
My wife loved playing the vintage pinball machine as well.

One of the hippest, coolest places to taste fun, approachable and delicious wines. Tank has a great line up of creative wines you can’t find elsewhere. Fun and irreverent. A must visit!

Unique and delicious

We visited Tank on our trip to Napa, and it was such a nice break from all the more “traditional” wineries. What a great place to relax! the wines? Don’t even get me started. We are club members, and have loved every single bottle we’ve gotten. The wines are fun, unique and delicious. Can’t recommend enough If you’re looking for something fun and not afraid to try something different than the typical Napa winery.
