It amazes me this place is still around. The wines are passable, champagne pretty bad. Whites are what we refer to in the industry as 'un-offense to large groups of people' which means in a nut sell with out depth, interest or memory. They have a large banner out front proclaiming they are voted best winery like 10 years in... More

We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed the informal setting at Frank Family. We had visited in 2011 and wanted to return. An old farmhouse setting that's just wonderful for enjoying the Napa scenery. We prefer their Chardonnay but the reds are good too. Encourage folks to stop at Frank's for a break on your Napa journey.

Garrick , was our host and he was amazing ! Chard is good but if you are a Rom fan of buttery and smooth this is good but not as good ! The Pinot was a surprise for me nice nose berry and oak . Very smooth with a slight hint of spice or Tobacco! The grounds are nice but... More

The grounds are lovely and there is a nice picnic area for customers only. The tastings here just seemed so impersonal. Right outside the door there's already a register where you check-in and pay. On the day we came there was a 30min wait. Luckily, we used the time to eat our lunch by the picnic tables. The tasting room... More

We're on a reunion with friends that we had met in Italy. We all traveled to Napa from various locations. My husband & I suggested this winery in our tour as we enjoy the Frank Family wines. We were literally embarrassed with our visit! Very impersonal, boring and rude. Napa tours are not just about the wines. Their tasting room... More

We went to Frank Family because of a local recommendation by a AAA travel agent. Thanks Nikki. The Zinfandel was very good. We even bought a bottle to take to the local restaurants and by the way most of them don't charge a corkage fee. Another great deal. The grounds are very nice to sit out and taste some good... More

The Frank Family Vineyards came highly recommended by friends as well as many articles and "best of" lists. But my experience did not live up to the hype. The grounds were nice but the area available to visitors is relatively small. All the signs telling people to stay away from the picnic tables seems unnecessary for a slow Monday (I... More

We did a wine tasting here at the recommendation of a friend. Quiet, enjoyable, rustic place. Loved the wine dog. Really enjoyed their wines. This is an off the beaten path winery that is definitely worth a visit.

Frank Family was our first winery we visited in Napa. We took the 30 minute drive from Yountville up to Frank Family. It was a scenic drive and great way to start our trip. Frank Family accepts walk ins and being a preferred partner with Hotel Yountville, our tasting was free. We did the Reserve tastings with Pam. With this... More

This is a beautiful winery with some expensive but good wines. If you can afford the stop bring a group and have a great experience!
