I know these are sparkling wines and therefore more expensive, but for the 2-stop tour, $65 per person seems a bit high! Very educational tour guide and very helpful in suggesting other places in Napa to see. You get to see massive caves and hear about the process of good science in wine making. My husband loved everything he tasted.

We discovered Schramsberg Vineyards, longer ago, than I care to admit. We did their tour and tasting with a small group, and just keep coming back. One can only do the tasting with the tour, and though we have now done the "cave tour" a half-dozen times over the decades, there is always something new to see, or learn, and... More

Schramsberg is not the most beautiful winery in Napa and there is no huge Chateau - BUT, it does offer you a taste of absolutely amazing sparkling wines and a really great, informative tour. Tour are a 12 person maximum, with a tour fee of $65 per person. The tours last a little over one hour and you stand for... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the wines. It was a unique experience - an authentic cave tour, an entertaining guide (Brittany - ask for her!), very good sparkling wines and we learned a ton about the area, history and the wine making process. Highly recommend this tour as it was so different than all the others and was a... More

I highly recommend booking this tour as your first stop when visiting Napa. It's a little further north when on the main road, and the turn to get into the winery is a little hard to find. The grounds outside are gorgeous, we unfortunately did not get much chance to explore since it was raining when we went. The sparkling... More

This is a really good tour for those interested in the history of the valley. The caves were really cool and they do a great job of taking you through the steps of the traditional method of making sparkling. And their sparkling is exceptional, by the way.

This was the most expensive tasting/tour we had scheduled, but based on reviews I thought it may be worth it. They would not let our party of 8 go one the same tour (even though tour size is 12) because it may make others "feel bad." So our groups were split 4/4 on tours separated by 30 min. When we... I really enjoyed this. The caves are a must see experience. The guide was very down to earth and likable. He explained things well for all levels in the room patiently and seemed genuinely happy. Highly recommend . If you only do a couple tours . Do this one.

Very nice winery, a little drive up the hill. We booked the tour in advance you can't show up without a reservation. Our tour guide explained about the early start of the winery the toured us around the cellars was very impressive and fun. The wine tasting was great, 3 sparkling wines and 2 reds, (Pinot and Cab). It was... More

The tour guide at Schramsberg is vivacious and personable--she even made a point of learning everyone's name. Her energy really helped the tour, which includes lots of fascinating and technical information about making sparkling wine. Unlike other winery tours we took, this one included very little pressure to buy. I appreciated this approach to their craft.
