My husband and I stopped in on a whim and were lucky they were able to seat us without a reservation. Rafaella was the perfect hostess! She asked what our favorite wine flavors were and helped us choose a tasting. She started us off with a nice cool and crisp rosé which was perfect for this warm afternoon. We paired our tasting with a beautifully prepared cheese plate which had four delicious cheese options, tiny grapes, roasted pecans and some lovely homemade apricot jam made by her sister in law. We shared a four flight tasting and all were quite good. We walked away with three bottles. Their Dry Riesling was not too dry, not sweet with a perfectly round flavor. The California Pinot was light, aromatic and had wonderful fruit tones. And of course the rosé which started our visit, had to come home with us. We don’t live far and will definitely be back. Highly recommend a visit to others looking for a cozy, friendly and delicious wine tasting experience!

I could tell we would love Lola when we walked in and their dog Lucky greeted us at the door. The beautiful tasting room was more like walking into a friends home. The creative design foreshadowed the tasting.
I’ve never tried raw wine, but Seth and Rafa explained that they let nature do most of the work. It’s the ultimate in clean food. My favorite is the Rose made from merlot grapes. The Pinot Noir Reserve is one of the raw wines that was excellent!
Their back patio looked like an ideal location for a private party, but the bathroom really sets the location apart. Perfectly preserved from the 1970’s, the bathtub was fully equipped with bright pink balls and matching telephone shower. Because we were there for my best friends birthday, Rafa let us use it as a photo set to commemorate her day! So much fun, great people and memorable wine!

LOLA Winery, what a fantastic experience. We were greeted with a warm smile and it didn't stop there. Francesca, was very knowledgeable about each wine and the process of it's making. She presented each wine in a very appealing way. Why wouldn't she the wines are incredible. We had the opportunity to meet the winemaker, such a kind soul, it's easy to see where the wine develops it's taste. When I went in the door I was not a red wine fan, I am now, the LOLA wines are light and easy on the pallet. I left with 5 bottles. I will definitely be stopping in again. Pam C

We had such a lovely and authentic experience at Lola on our visit last week. It’s a charming and inviting place that welcomes you in, and then friendly folks take over and you become part of the family as you taste and learn about their wines and process from growing/pruning in select vineyards to how they barrel and bottle for what they are achieving. Seth, Rafa and Marley make you feel welcome and a part of a close knit family. Rafa’s art and creative expression is evident everywhere you look and turn in this charming place. It’s rare to walk in to such a place in Napa Valley in these times of the large/opulent/statement projects that are impressive but not as authentic as the experience you can have if your are lucky to sit down in the same room as the growers, winemaker, and proprietors of a label that they are happy to share in their own genuine way one on one. The wines are great, with some unique but appealing characteristics that set them apart and make them the ones you want to open at home with food and friends. We are anxious to share this find in our own little town of Calistoga with everyone we know, as long as the keep it a secret!

We stopped here on our last day in Napa, we were visiting for our 10 year anniversary! We certainly saved the best for last! The host was super friendly and shared lots of great stories about the winemaker and his family. The wines were excellent and were very reasonably priced. This place made a permanent spot on our list of wineries to visit whenever we visit Napa!

Give them a try!

Our new favorite place to visit. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming so that you feel right at home. Seth and Rafa are very knowledgeable and outgoing, and there is none of the pretentious or snobby attitude that you sometimes find at other wineries. The wines were delicious and economical for the novice wine drinker (me). we will defiantly be back as often as we can.

Fun anniversary weekend in Calistoga. We stayed at Indian Springs, hiked Oat Hill Mine Trail 2x, and had an amazing wine tasting at Lola, a boutique winery on Hwy 29,
right before you get to Calistoga.

While we’ve driven past Lola several times before, not really knowing what it was, we got a referral to do their wine tasting, and boy did it exceed our expectations. Historical brick house from 1892, beautiful backyard patio, great wine, and super friendly staff. Will definitely stop here again!

Dear Travelers,
I went into the cozy LOLA wine tasting cottage for a Chenin Blanc. It was just what I was hoping for and more, so for Chenin Blanc lovers out there you know what I mean. The friendly folks at LOLA then offered me a tasting of their wine made from the ancient grape Malvasia Bianca. Extraordinary is the best word to describe it. You will love it and you will wonder why not everyone is making wine from Malvasia Bianca. I can't wait to try the other great and truly unique wines they are making. In fact, I just checked the website and the Mother's Day specials right now are fantastic! Be sure and check their specials out online. You will be glad you did! Hello to everyone at LOLA!

I just stopped in here on a whim, having lived in Calistoga for 12 years now. I’m stunned to find that there is still a winery in Napa Valley that is this genuine, unique, and personable. Fantastic wines served at ridiculously reasonable prices by a lovely local couple. Stop in! You won’t regret it
