The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

The Calistoga Spa Hot Sorings is a throwback. The pools and spa remind me of upstate New York. The rooms however are very modern and well-appointed. The 4 pools are clean and of varying temperatures and filled with mineral-rich waters. The clientele is certainly very diverse with many foreign languages being spoken. The massage was okay - nothing to get... More

We came Sunday and Monday, though we didn't stay the night here (we went to Mountain View Hotel) we would like to try it out next time. This is also possible to do in one day if you dont mind driving back to the East Bay where we're from. We started our drive at 6am and arrived to Mt Saint... More

All the usual spa stuff at what I think are reasonable prices. Short walk to the spa from your room. Nice pool environment, lots of lounge chairs. One block from downtown so you can walk to all the restaurants.

Always a beyond enjoyable treat to frequent this historical spa. The grounds are magnificent and rich with history, the pool is soothing and spectacularly huge, and the treatments are deeply restorative. I escape to here from the busy work week when I'm on the west coast and drink up every bit of my time there. Thank you for preserving history,... More

This is a great hotel with a fully stocked kitchenette including a toaster, pots and pans, cutting knife and outdoor BBQ pits. The rooms have been remodeled and are gorgeous! I appreciated the adults only mineral pool with robes provided

It's not luxurious, but it is clean and pleasant with four pools to choose from. Sunbeds can fill up pretty quickly.

We stayed two nights here (Sunday-Monday) on a unusually warm recent weekend. We reserved a upper room. The soaking pools (2) are good and I like to swim laps, and their lap pool is very good. However, there were MANY children in evidence, hanging on the ropes, running around, etc., which took away from the relaxing spa atmosphere. There is... More

Management called and said the massage therapist had called in sick the most he could offer was free mudbaths. They were booked and it was Sunday night. It was wonderful the attendants were great! I have been going there off and on for years and plan to go back.
