We decided to stay in a yurt with our kids age 7&5 just to try it out while we were in Napa. Kids loved the yurt. We didn't get to do much hiking because we were only there overnight. The bathrooms were clean. The Yurt...More
We recently camped here for one night with our 2 children. The location is lovely and an easy drive from the Bay Area. However, the poison oak is rampant and it was nearly impossible to set up our tent without touching or laying the tent...More
If you like to camp and love wine tasting; this is the place for you. Great location!

This place rocks if you can handle some of the campsites being loud/party spots. However, it is an awesome place to have a nice Napa valley camping experience, with pool and lots of kids. Hiking trails are great!
It is a beautiful campground so close to downtown Calistoga with a $1 shuttle to town! But not enjoyable at all with our two dogs just trying to keep them out of the poison oak! There is not just a little amount it is abundant...More
So close to the Castle and Sterling wineries. And our uber was able to pick us up from our site as well. MOST of the sites are VERY small and there is a lot of poison oak BUT ya can't beat the price in Napa....More

It gets really hot inside the yurt and late afternoon it cools down a bit. there are windows on the yurt you can roll up and let the cool air in the afternoon come in, but wouldn't leave the door open too long. You don't want mosquitos getting in. It gets really cool around 3-5 am, so make sure you have a good blanket.
