Join the Men's club for great bargain golf if you can play at least twice a week or with family. Course is wonderful for weather, scenery, and wildlife. The golf is challenging enough to make each round interesting. Slight hills, but walkable for anyone used to walking 18. Drawback is the thinning fairway turf and some chipping areas around the... Played here numerous times.. The course is pretty scenic.. Challenging.. Hilly.. Can be a long course with cliffs and trees and bunkers. It gets really crowded.. Not for beginners.. They have a driving range which is nice.. I will say that the staff in the pro shop multiple times made it seem like we were bothering them to ask questions.... More

Crystal is a challenging golf course - hilly, and a general west sloping terrain. Often see deer roaming the course. Well worth it to play golf at there. Location is about 20 minutes south from San Francisco via freeway 280. The pricing of a round of golf and a cart is reasonable.

We played a few days after a heavy rain and the fairways were soggy and the grass was tall. The little white flowers in the grass made it hard to find balls and the narrow fairways and unforgiving OB made for a lot of lost balls. I play to about a 15 handicap and I found the course unforgiving, but... More

Crystal is a stunning layout. The views from some holes are great. The layout is a real challenge with uphill, downhill, tight fairways, severe slopped greens and you get a full round of golf challenge. Restaurant is average with hit and miss service. Driving range is quite good.

We arranged a golf game at Crystal Springs on our way back into San Francisco after a golf weekend away. Although the weather was beautiful and the course was in reasonable condition, everything else about golfing at Crystal Springs was poorly managed. We quit after playing nine holes in three hours and left mad with a bad ending to what... More

We were attended the wedding party, small dinner hall, but with good view. Food was no taste. The golf course looks nice.

Considering the drought in California and the price paid for a round, this was an excellent golf course and golf value. The fairways are very challenging with few level lies, but there is grass throughout the course. The greens are fair and reasonably true (had just been aerated). I found this to be one of the hilliest courses I have... More
