We chose to attend this show so we would know who to recommend it too. We attended at 8pm on a Saturday (second show of the day). We had 4 adults, one of us (me) is a huge PIRATE fan, yo ho! The employees were...More

Went there with my son. He loved it. Not sure one needs to pay extra for the better seats since they're all pretty close. Also, for younger kids - like my son - its scary and they want to sit farther away. The first thing...More

The show was fantastic! Great presentation. The wait staff were extremely accommodating. The food was about the same as medieval times as was the price, but this was just an all around better experience

We took the family with friends to see the dinner theater and the kids loved the show! The food was just ok and drinks pricey but the entertainment was terrific! The kids loved being part of the cheering team for their pirate and my daughter...More

We went here to celebrate a granddaughters birthday. You need to get there early because there are complimentary snacks passed around, and then a pre-show entertainment. The actual program with dinner was exciting and the food was good.

Took our son to Pirates. We paid full price and upgraded to Captain’s seating (have since learnt that I may have been able to pick up a deal on Groupon). Seating was ok. I was on the end of the first row closest to the...More

Before the show, they walk around serving hors d'oeuvres!! So yummy!! The show was very entertaining and exciting. The Pirates are very funny and it was awesome to see the audience interaction.

Nice show very cool pirates for the youngest. Food ? if you want great food it is not the place to go, but the show is able to compensate it. It is little bit expensive at the BAR, but for the experience with most ferocious...More

The show is less than two hours - probably pretty close to 90 minutes. It is worth getting to the show early by at least 45 minutes. The will seat you 30 minutes before the show and the 15 minutes before that they put on a... More

No. They passed out a little dish after the showing saying tip is not included. Suggested tipping was $2-$5 per person.

Our 7:00pm show ended at 8:40pm. Try to arrive at least 60 minutes before your show time to catch the pre-show. The line to get inside can easily be 20-25 minutes long. If your show time is 6:30pm, I would anticipate your... More

Pirates Dinner Adventure - Yes or No???? (9 Replies)
Im asking for a friend who wants to go to a Dinner & Show. I have looked at Hood Dee Doo and Pirates Dinner Adventure, i think the Pirates looks better. What are your opinions or is there anything else? Thanks Caz Essex X

Give pirates a wide berth.....unless you want cold greasy food,as well as being constantly reminded about how much to tip from the servers! The show itself isn't anything great, a lot of shouting and cannons firing..... Hoop De Doo would be my choice out of the two.

Pirates Dinner Adventure- Reservations Required? (8 Replies)
I have purchased my tickets for the Pirate Dinner Show in advance - at the request of my 7 year old son (a "trade off" because he has to sit through a princess meal for the benefit of his little sister!) Now I have them, I notice that they are not for any specific date. So, what do I do next? Do I need to ring and make reservations or do we just turn up on the day we want to go and hope we get a table? If we just turn up and hope, how long before the show should we arrive? Does it get...More

We went in November. We got the tickets while we were there but yes i`m sure you will need to ring and make reservations. You get allocated a seat by the price of your ticket if i remember! The closer to the front the more chance the kids have of joining in. But it was quiet when we went and didn`t pay extra and my two still got picked! Think we arrived about 3/4 hr before hand and had a pre show drink and they have entertainment going on also! You get told which pirate you will be...More

Anaheim to Buena Park for Pirates Dinner show - taxi ????? (7 Replies)
Hi Going to book for the Pirates dinner adventure show Mon 9th April. at 7pm If I book directly with the theatre we will have to make our own way there and back to our hotel (Camelot Inn) in a taxi. Can somebody advise if there are alot of taxis around after the show finishes as we don't want to be in an isolated area and wondering how we are going to get back to hotel. The second option is to book with Greyline tours - which we will get picked up and return after the show finishes....More
