We enjoyed the show. It was great for little kids also. They had a lot of audience interaction. The food was good and wait staff quick. The only downside was parking. Plan on paying $5 and if you are the later show(8 pm) plan on waiting for parking spaces to open up as the other show lets out.

My family and I went to the show as my brother has been to these before. However, I must admit we all had a wonderful time and we all really enjoyed the entertainment and the food was delicious. The crew and the servers really did a great job!

Dinner Theaters are very expensive but are worth every penny. When we go a vacation we try to do a dinner theater on our last night - grand finale kind of thing. In California, we tried the Pirate Dinner Theater - Great. It was very entertaining. They do a wonderful pre show that includes the audience. They have great appetizers before/during the preshow all including in the price (you might want to bring bottled water because drinks before the show are not included in price - so all the appetizers with no liquid). Beware if your server is the really big tall strong guy and you want your picture with him - he might just pick you up or you and someone else at the same time. I have not tried the Medieval Time Dinner Theater but have heard great things about it as well - make sure your hand are clean because no silverware in the medieval times.

Please dont let them set you in the green or orange section, view to show is blocked, we sat in the green section row 7, the kitchen was right next to us and we were distracted by the loud noise of the people banging and washing dishes. The food was awful, chicken, beef, rice and potatoes sat around to long and was served cold. Kid meals was nothing more than 2 chicken strips and 2 mounds of cold mashed potatoes, After paying $170.00 for this awful experience the waitress asked for a tip of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for child. The nerve.

Pirates Dinner Adventure offer through Groupon is not honored!
Groupon offers "$32 for an adult admission, Monday-Thursday ($60.15 value)" . After purchasing five Groupons for $32 each, I called to make a reservation. I was told that to use Groupons that I would have to pay an additional $5.20 each (an additional $26) to redeem the Groupons. The advertising is deceptive and illegal.

The show was awful, aside from being horribly cheesy, the singing was off key (painful) and the acting was atrocious. The plot wouldn't entertain a 5 year old. Not to mention the salad was wilted, the dinner was inedible, and our server was slow! Plus, after paying over $300 to get all of us in we got a little note afterward letting us know that our server's tip was not included in the price and they recommened that we leave $5 per adult and $3 per child (another $36 for us to spend!). Don't go! Treat yourself to a nice dinner somewhere else.

I cannot fathom the type of person who would derive ANY entertainment from this catastrophe that passes itself off as dinner theater. Maybe the very, and I mean VERY, young. This is the absolute worst type of corn pone
I went with a group of 20 people. Not one - NOT ONE - came away from this atrocity entertained. To the contrary, I would have a paid another $53.00 (YES....$53!!!!) just to get the heck out of there.
They might as well call this show "The Pirates of Money Take Island" because it is, from beginning to end, designed solely to part you with your money.
The "show" - and I use that term VERY loosley, consists of a bunch of Z grade Drama club rejects yelling over each other through head set mics. This was the Christmas show and, I think, involved an elf and a bunch of pirates. Really, that is about as much plot as you will be able to glean from the mish mash of amplified voices blaring at you. What dialouge you can make out consists of a lot of "ARRRGHHHHs" and everyone calls everyone else "laddy." See....they are all pirates. Get it? Honeslty, I think the "book" for this was written by a deaf mute with no sense of either dramatic or musical timing. It is, in every way, a greuling experience that should be avoided at all costs.
One very authentic aspect of the Pirate Dinner adventure is the food because it harkens back to the days before adquate refridgeration or heating or spices or...I dunno....any sort of real culinary innovation. We got - and I'm not kidding - the choice between - get ready- "chicken and beef" or "chicken and shrimp". Wheeeeee! I opted for the chicken and beef. The chicken breast, and this is 100% true, HAD BEEN BOILED and was about as tender as Uniroyal tire. My fiance sampled the "beef" and promptly spit it back out onto my plate. All the food was either steamed or boiled. I'm not sure where I would put the quality of this quasi edible stuff we were served. It is worse that airplane, hospital and, I'm guessing, prison food.
They did have booze - thank merciful God. It's always a good sign when your host / acting talent informs you as you take your seat to "drink all you can. It will make the show better." I did and, guess what, it didn't.
There is NO GOOD REASON THIS ESTABLISHMENT SHOULD EXIST IN A RATIONAL SOCIETY. This is the after birth, the detrius left in the wake of mega parks like Disneyland and Six Flags. I was actually angered walking out! Don't do it. You may think, "Oh. It can't be that bad!" IT IS THAT BAD! TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU! THIS WILL TAKE YOU INTO A DARK CORNER OF YOUR SOUL OF WHICH THERE IS NO RETURN!

For the basic seats it's one price for all, unless you want to pay $12.00 more per person to be guaranteed seating in the first two rows. What we didn't realize is that for the same price for the general tickets, there is quite a difference in the views. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed with groups. We were a family gathering of 6 and we got the worst seats in the place. Do not sit in the blue section. We were at the back very top section up against a wall. We literally could not move to go to the bathroom or anything. There was no room behind our seats. You had to file out in the order you came in. We felt completely ripped off for having probably paid more than the groups who no doubt got group pricing when our view was minimal of all the activity. The horrible seats should be discounted. We had one child with us who was not offered a child's meal and consequently left the adult meal he was given. The salads are all sitting out when you enter and yes wilted which makes me think a lot of people could breath on them as they are filing in...the soda though plentiful is flat from sitting out. Bottom line, we paid a lot of money for a lot of discomfort and disappointment. I really think our experience could have been different with better seats which would make the show more enjoyable. Ask questions and know where you will be sitting or you could get ripped off like us.

The people above me spilled a red alcoholic slushy on me at the beginning of the show. The drink ruined my underwear and my dress. After I waited for an apology and nothing was said I got upset couldn't pay attention to the show and the night along with my dress was ruined. I left the show asked for a refund I was refused one and was told I could come back another day even though I live in another state. Obviously I had zero fun and the management could care less.

The show had already started before we even got our seats!!! There were 5 of us so I upgraded our party so we could have our own private booth in the front row where we could see each other and talk, etc but there were no booths, at all! It was just a row for 6 with only one way in or out so if any of us needed to get up to go to the bathroom or whatever we all had to get up and move completely out of the row and stand in the aisle, probably blocking other people's view. When we got to our seats there were already other people in them, eating!!! We had to wait for them to be moved. We weren't early but we weren't late either. The show was supposed to be interactive and include kids but because the show started early and we didn’t know where to go to ask about our 5 year old she never got the chance to be in any part of the show. They were also having costume contests but while we were getting our seats the contest started and ended so she missed out on everything. We drove from San Diego to go to this thing and got our little girls hopes up and she didn't understand what was going on or when she was supposed to be in it, and we didn't either, It was heartbreaking. I put a lot of effort into planning this trip for everybody in our party so I knew when the doors were going to open and that it said there was a preshow, although I don't understand how pirates carrying around little snacks trays while you shop in their gift shops can be called a show, especially when the face painting I thought was a freebie for the kids ended up costing $10? I also knew that this was supposed to be an interactive show and the main event wasn't supposed to start until 7pm but because they started early we were lost from the beginning.

Can an adult dress up at the pirates dinner adventure in orlando, dl

I have two kiddos one (5 years old), and the other (3 months) it's safe for babies?
it's not to loud for babies?
Written November 24, 2019
I also don't recall it being loud, and we were near the front - in theatrical terms, it wasn't that noisy but then again babies can cry if there is any kind of startling sound.

Can you buy the pirate flags without purchasing them in a package? If so, how much are they?
Written August 29, 2019
Yes you can buy the flags and the bandanas before the show from the ticket office. Not sure how much they are.

This is our first time to the show. My son is turning 4, and I am trying to decide if it is worth it to upgrade our seats. Any suggestions?
Written June 29, 2019
No need to upgrade really, we didn’t and seats were still good.

How long is the Saturday show at 5:00pm?
Written June 4, 2018
The show is less than two hours - probably pretty close to 90 minutes. It is worth getting to the show early by at least 45 minutes. The will seat you 30 minutes before the show and the 15 minutes before that they put on a small show in the waiting area.
The have free appetizers and drinks available while you wait. The $3 soda has free refills, so they don't gauge you if you come early and hang out.
Written June 5, 2018
No. They passed out a little dish after the showing saying tip is not included. Suggested tipping was $2-$5 per person.
Written June 18, 2018
What time does the show end...need an uber ride home...if show starts at 630
Written April 29, 2018
Our 7:00pm show ended at 8:40pm. Try to arrive at least 60 minutes before your show time to catch the pre-show. The line to get inside can easily be 20-25 minutes long.
If your show time is 6:30pm, I would anticipate your show ending at ~8:10pm.
Written April 30, 2018
We are going to a 7pm show with 4 young kids (5 to 8 years old).
What time should we actually get there ?
They said 5.30pm, but my kids will get bored easily, so I was thinking about 6.30pm.
Will we miss anything, other than an open bar designed to get your cash 😜
Written April 17, 2018
I think 6pm will be good. They do serve yummy finger food (free!), the fried Mac n Cheese is a must try!
There's also an opening segment in the area before the actual show itself so you shouldn't miss that too.
Written April 17, 2018
I want to take my 6 year old, but she's very sensitive to loud noise. Is this really loud that would make a child uncomfortable? Thanks.
Written April 10, 2018
It's not perpetually loud throughout the entire dinner but there are some segments that can may alarm her if she sensitive eg gun shots
