Offering grassed barbecue areas and a kiosk right next to the ocean. Floreat beach is the perfect place to go for a relaxed day by the beach.

To our surprise, a volleyball competition was on - the WA Nationals. We got there right on midday and it was as hot as hell so finding a tree to hide under made all the difference. Perfect sand made this an ideal place for people...More

Was spending some time by the sea, and walked along the boardwalk from city beach to here, not a long distance, and relatively easy along the boardwalk which is set up for people who can manage stairs (only 4/5) or ramps to avoid these. Some...More

This is our local beach, it is sublime in summer. Try to get there early as it can get a few big waves later in the morning along with an early sea breeze. Brilliant for families and kids with an excellent barbque and kids playground...More

Another lovely beach to enjoy. Soft sand. The Kiosk sells good food and drinks . There is a play area for the little ones and a nice grassed area too.

I imagine tourists mainly find themselves at Floreat because they are brought by locals. It is not one of the more prominent tourist beaches like Cottesloe or Scarborough (or even the very nearby City Beach a short stroll to the south). It was my family...More

Visit on a weekday to avoid the crowds and any parking issues. The beach is nice enough, but not really as pretty as Cottesloe in my opinion.

My friend drove me around the northern beaches and Floreat beach was on the way. It's a busy place with lots of people. We tood some pictures and it was very pretty.
