A sensational expanse of sand. An ocean beach. Consistent waves. Grass and trees with a view of the beach. Lifesavers. It’s a great beach and deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as other more renowned Perth beaches.

Nothing special but a pleasant beach with sometimes supervised swimming, green lawns with some share and several eateries. I can imagine it gets crowded at weekends. Accessible by public transport.

Tons of free parking, golden sand, a reasonable beach break that can get a little dumpy at times. Very popular with a wide variety of people. Best shower facilities I’ve ever come across. Lots of great spots to eat or just grab a coffee after...More

Wow so lucky to live here. We have beautiful beaches and this is one of the best. Parking free and next to beach. Restaurants close for a bite of lunch. Great spot to spend the day

Best beach in Perth and the whole world. Joy water, good people, occasional swells and just an epic place to hang out.

I was back here again today in a quest to find the best beach in Perth - and I’d forgotten what this one was like. It’s ok and great to watch the sunset - other than that, there is nothing spectacular about this beach. It’s...More

Its a very nice beach with beautiful sand and the water is great. It's alright for a swim and hanging out on the beach. They do have a park and car park areas. There's a restaurant there if you choose to dine there.

City beach is a great place to meet family or friends. You can bath in the sun or sit further back in the grass and have a bbq/Picknick. There are cafes/restaurants near by (Clancy’s/Odyssea/Hampton’s) in case hunger strikes or a coffee is needed. Great place...More

Hi if you take an Uber taxi it takes 19 minutes or if you take the number 82 bus from the Perth Busport it takes 38 minutes. It is approx 11.0 km distance from Murray St to City Beach Hoping this helps :)
