The staff were professional and worked well with our group of 13. Definitely needed reservations!! They gave us group and cash discounts. The one hour ride is not enough time to really get into the forest. They claim you ride through the forest, but on the one hour ride we were only in the forest for about 10-15 minutes and... More

The view was pretty but we rode in circles in a very small area. There is very little to say. It was quite boring and the trails were basically is a neighborhood.

We took the 2 hour ride, based on others' recommendations...and we agree this is the way to go! The shorter ride wouldn't allow you the time to get far enough from the stables / surrounding neighborhood and see the great scenery! We had riders from ages 8 through 50 and different experience levels. The guide catered to all. This was... More

HORRIBLE PLACE! Six of us went on a one hour ride. From the beginning, the manager lady yelled at a few of us for not keeping the horse in line. Not to mention we hadn't even left the stable! The ride was okay, even though I could not hear a single thing the guide was saying. During the ride we... More

We did the two hour ride along the Pacific Crest Trail, and went up to the top overlooking the next valley. Great weather, great horses, great tour guide! Will definitely return! They even have a little petting zoo when you can feed the goats, etc.

The equipment being used for the trail ride is just average - Not junk but, well used. The horses are good natured and quiet. As a horseman, I would say they lack the manners I expect from my horse but, I also understand that these horses know their jobs and they do their jobs - tote people through the trails.... More

As a keen rider, I was looking forward to riding in the Big Bear Lake area. This is the only stables in the area and I feel this has been counter productive to customer service at the ranch. You need to book in advance which is fine however on arrival, the owner is not very friendly and makes it clear... More

If you want to go on an actual ride you need to go for at least two hours. From the stables it takes 30 min to get to the trails. The trails are in the nearby state park. The 3hr ride was perfect. I am experienced but my wife not so much but she still really enjoyed the ride. The... More

I went on a one hour ride and it was pretty good. You get to ride for about 30 minutes in the forest (another 30 minutes on the road to get to/from the forest) with a stop for pictures. Our guide was friendly and helpful (they work for tips). They also have pony rides for kids. Will definitely come back... More

Experienced staff and well cared for horses made this a fun experience for both novice and experienced riders. We started out with a beautiful morning, but 30 minutes in to our ride the weather turned ugly and we were caught out on the trail with thunder, lightening and HAIL. The staff handled professionally with the group's safety as their primary... More
