We visited on a Segway tour with a stop to discuss the building and the academy. The building was beautiful especially nestled between the park and the tennis courts. It was much more impressive than the one on Wilshire where the films are viewed. Interesting to know all the motion picture history that has occurred there.

Saw who shot rock and roll. The buildings at the Avenue of the Stars are a must see. It is quite amazing what the Americans construct.

This center is a living memorial to all those who have and are working in the movies and the biz. Very interesting to visit for a few hours.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
