No, I didn't go down the slide, but I had a lot of fun watching kids go down on "sleds" made out of flattened paper boxes. It is amazing in this day of helicopter parents, litigation, and risk aversion that a city is willing to...More

Went here with my son and grandson. Lots of places to hike and climb and generally wear out grandparents and parents. A lot of places to have fun and just a delight to be there. Good spot to bring children and keep their attention.

We hold our annual staff picnic here. People bring their families and the kids (and adults) love the concrete slide - but bring a cardboard box to sit on as you go down the slide.
