A must do when in Berkeley. Take the lift up to the observation platform for panoramic 360 degree views. Only $4 too.

The tower is elegant, a view by itself. For a few dollars, you can take the elevator and ascend to the top. UC Berkeley campus and part of the Bay Area are below you, including the Bay Bridge and even the Golden Gate Bridge.

You can take an elevator to the top of the campanile, as we call it, and get an amazing view of Berkeley and the Bay Area.

A great place to visit - a nice town and the university campus is really interesting to walk around. So large that they even have their own university police force! The Sather Tower is well worth a visit, with some great views from the top.

This was a great experience to ride the elevator to the top and view campus without walking the entire campus. Cost was $4 for a non-student, and they were open on Labor Day.
