we recently attended Paul Simon at the Greek Theater and it was amazing. I got lucky and somehow scored "throne" seats, which are high-backed concrete thrones at the back of the orchestra section. I hear they are highly coveted, and it was quite cool. Security and ticket staff were fast and friendly, as were the concession staff. The sound was... More

Parking can be found if you are willing to walk. Toilets are plentiful (may be a small line). Good options for food and drink (even some gluten free -- as in a curry rice dish). All in all even if you cannot get into the seating section, being on the lawn is great too. Either way (lawn or seating) be... More

Born and raised in the Bay but this was my first visit to this lovely venue! Everything about it was fun and enjoyable. Saw the fabulous PTX and made the experience perfect!

Great venue to see a concert! All seating was general so we arrived about an hour before ShowTime and lined up out front. Once doors opened it moved quickly. Be cautions of line cutters! once inside we found a seat, lower bowl just about eye level. Could have easy had standing room in the bowl if we wanted. Wish we... More

The Greek is a hallmark for Berkeley citizens. It's hosted some of the hottest artists including Lorde, The Weeknd and Childish Gambino and is a hotspot for residents of Berkeley and University students alike. The only downside is that it can get quite chilly at night and it isn't that great of a venue for rainy days.

The theater is located in a beautiful setting in the Berkeley Hills on the UC Campus. The seating area is extremely crowded and very uncomfortable. It is difficult to move, take a drink, access your camera and exit your seat. You must crawl over everyone in your aisle's feet to enter and exit your seat. The location is gorgeous. The... More

The Geek is a great venue, with surprisingly good acoustics. It can be (very!) cold if you are not well prepared and parking is always a a challenge. But if you take appropriate layers, the rest of the experience is great.

My friend & I attended a concert at this venue. It was our 2nd time. The venue seems to be at the top of a small hill. There is a parking garage next door as well as a 2nd one a block or so away but if the show is popular, those spaces become full FAST. Since there was alot... More

First time to Greek Theatre! Wonderful venue! Great seats! General seating to see Of Monsters and Men. We were directly behind the throne seats! Other than lots of people walking by the seats had a great view! Got there early and filled up fast! Outdoors! Didnt get too cold. Definitely wear layers. As the night got later did get a... More

A friend and I went to see Duran Duran at this venue and were pleasantly surprised (we had never been there before). While there was a lot of climbing involved and the stone seats were a tad uncomfortable for the 4 hour show (tried to stand as much as possible), the acoustics were great and the food choices were amazing...
