“Total crap not worth half the cost of your lift ticket”

This resort is sub-par , with Rocky (!) areas of piste left ungroomed (Alpica peak) ; also many of the trails in the resort you will find closed for no apparent reason (insufficient snow base? Too much snow to groom? Kremlin fat cats in the area, and all tourists chased Kidd the mountain?) Also waistlines are from hell: 15-20 minutes to ski 2-minute run is just totally uncalled for.. In a nutshell it’s a crappy resort with an Alpine-level price tag. One to avoid - regardless of your skiing skill level.

It is a good 30 minutes ride to the mountain. It demonstrates as an Alpine mountain. Nice restaurant with friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Reasonably priced lift service with excellent service staff. Well equipped Galaxy.

Its summer time but almost all the cable cabin lines working. Its a place which you can't miss for ski. A lot of different type of levels for ski👌🏻👌🏻

I like the mountain.

definitely worth the visit. I recommend you try all three moountains (Rosa Khutor, Gasporom and Gornaya Karusel) and see which one you like better. the lifts are a bit slow here, but overall, we had a lot of fun, so not much else to say here. definitely worth the visit.

Gazprom mountain-tourist centre is the first class centre! There are a lot of cable cars and plesant slopes, highly qualified and friendly staff, many choices of restaurants, bistro and cafe. And always you can found here festive mood!

The most awful service I have ever seen. Having bought the ski pass via Internet I had to wait for 1 hour for the ski pass to be issued due to some technical issue on the side of the resort. Having spent the best time for skiing (9 to 10) waiting I haven't even received any apologies from the resort staff.

Extremely expensive

Gazprom ski resort provides quite a variety of slopes, nice lifts with reasonable waiting time, and quite a good service. The best time to come is early morning, and immediately after the evening opening, when the snow is great, and most people didn't arrive yet.
At the same time, everything is extremely expensive. One has to pay for a ski pass more than at European resorts, while the slope variety and service at Gazprom are much worse than in Europe. Food is very basic, while costs 3-5 times more than in Adler/Sochi restaurants.
Another downside is the rental service. The queues are very long (one hour waiting time or more) and by midday they run off some sizes. But if you're lucky and they've got your size, the service is good and the equipment quality is superb.
If you arrive by train from Sochi/Adler, and you have your equipment with you, there's no need to take a bus to the resort - you can take the lift on the opposite side of the mountain, that starts right in front of the train station.

We were there on a very slow monday and while the lifts were half-full with no queues, the lodges, rental service, toilets, and ski runs were full. I can't imagine what the place would be like during a busy weekend or during peak season. There is heaps of lift capacity but the ski runs are not wide and all facilities are very limited. Still, the nicest skiing resort in Russia.

aquapark is gorgeous! there exists a limit of visitors, so it's not packed with people. open swimmingpool in Febrruary - amazing! I'm full of emotions and want to return back. PS - better to go in a daytime, I suppose, as the view is picturesque

English man in Russia ! And wow was I impressed. I have skied all over Europe and. Canada. And although this mountain is small there are others close by. All in all
Cheap - great lifts- great runs - good and cheap on mountain food and drink and friendly people. I could not ask for any more
