WOW - what a fantastic experience - went for my 50th birthday - first time jumping - always wanted to do it. There are other places to do this with bigger planes where you jump out like cattle but Sky Dive West Coast was amazing. It really is one on one (only two jump out at a time). Everybody was amazing from Tanya doing the reservation to Tom who thankfully held on to me all the way down, to the whole crew - (Thanks Tom! I didn't throw up on you! LOL!) Just fantastic. Scary, but I would definitely do it again. An amazing experience and everybody at Skydive West Coast made it an amazing 50th birthday experience. The jumping crew has an amazing number of years experience and they made it so pleasant. I could go on and on and on - I also, of course got the video and everything else! Definitely amazing - just go do it!

Finally got to check this off my bucket list, a perfect way to say goodbye to this year! Instructions were great, felt safe and secure throughout the entire process, and the staff was friendly! Already can't wait to go back.

The dive itself was absolutely amazing! Though, I have a couple reservations about some other parts of my experience. I went skydiving at a difference location (Skydive Coastal California) just 2.5 months prior to this jump, so the experience was fresh in my mind, and the West Coast jump itself did not disappoint! This jump was a bit more intense at 12,500 feet (4,000 feet higher than Coastal). I could feel the difference! I ordered a tandem jump package for two with a video package from Groupon. I was disappointed that when I called to book it cost an additional $50 per person. To be fair, this was written in the very fine print at the end of the listing, however I didn't like that it seemed like a bait and switch. I was VERY disappointed with how the video package (included in the Groupon) turned out. The video footage, which they posted onto YouTube several hours after the jump (they didn't even send it to us directly--we had to keep checking to see if it uploaded), started when we jumped out of the plane and ended when they pulled the parachute, excluding all the footage the dive instructors took of us on the ground pre-jump, inside the plane, floating with the parachute up (it included the free fall only), and post-jump, so all those memories were lost despite the film already having been recorded. What's actually worse is that the video itself, less than one minute long, is covered more than halfway by a GIANT logo watermark. Seriously, just look it up on their YouTube channel (look for Tori on December 4). If a business is going to offer a video with a deal, I think it should at least feature the experience and not just the logo. The staff members were not wearing masks so be aware of that. Overall the staff was mostly friendly aside from one who I don't think was trained customer service. It was an amazing experience, but if you're looking to capture the experience on film, you might have to pay even more unless you want to pay to look at their logo in the sky. There was a dog there so that was a definite plus.

We had an excellent time! T is the greatest jump instructor. Hearing her British accent in your ear is very soothing before the first time you ever jump out of a plane. -Solomon
