My husband and I went to a concert with a group friends at the Fox Theater. The Fox theater is a blast from the past. The theater was opened on Christmas day 1930. It is everything the theaters from the Gilded age had. Including a...More

Perfect place to go see a concert. Every seat is a good seat. Its not too big. I saw Jennifer Nettles and enjoyed it very much.

I can remember going to the fox theater as a kid. It is so similar and nostalgic to this very day. If you get the opportunity to attend an eve t at the Fox, you'll enjoy it.

I love the classic exterior and interior of the Fox theater. Nice to have such a place in Bakersfield. Cheap beer, 2 bars, small wait. Small bathroom downstairs. Bigger bathrooms upstairs. It has seating like a high school auditorium with assigned seats. It was great...More

I hate the seating for a concert. It's like you walk into a movie theater in comparison and a live concert is going on but you have to be quiet and seated! No fun! Older people might enjoy the kick back feel of the theater,...More

Great old theater that is used for plays and events. Not a bad seat in the house. Street parking is all around but would encourage you to get there early to grab a prime spot (you can always walk a few blocks for a drink...More

I do not know what sort of an event that you are talking about. A ticket will get you in the door and basically anywhere inside - but that would not include backstage (I think).
