Well my wife and older son and I had a lot of fun playing miniature golf here, but it wasn't due to how nice or clean the park was. Yes, the courses are run down, dirty the chutes are broken and clogged and there is a heavy homeless presence, the backdrop is the railroad yard with excess rolling stock as your canopy; how could you expect anything different? We had a fun time just goofing around trying trick shots and keeping things light. I wouldn't play here after dark, nor would I bring little kids here, but we were in town playing a music gig and needed a lightweight activity to regroup after our performance. Definitely bring the hand sanitizer, you will need it!

This was a return visit to Camelot Park as we pass through town headed west. We came for the miniature golf and the course has deteriorated in the last several years. The chutes are clogged,it's dirty, and in general it is just run down. Still family fun but it coud definitely use some TLC. There is a heavy homeless population who have taken residence outside the park so though probably safe, I was a little uncomfortable and would be reluctant to spend much time after dark. I wish there were a better solution for those without shelter in Bakersfield, or any town for that matter. As is customary these days, bring hand cleaner.

Grandkids out of school for 2 weeks, the rest of the kids aren't, it was just their school. Decided to try the park and we were the only ones there. Found a deal on Groupon and purchased it. I thought it was for all day, but it wasn't, oh well they had fun the 2 hrs. we were there. They really liked going on the bumper boats, even though one of the boats wasn't working right. On the boats you can shoot water at the other boats and our grand daughter had the one boat that didn't really work and her brother's just soaked her. The best thing were the go carts, they said. They played games and then miniature golf. Had some food too which wasn't expensive it was fun. We will take them again next week and get the unlimited deal, for the rides and game tokens.

Horrible place. Never seen so many lazy individuals. Then only the go karts work. My son is too shirt to get in the bigger ride. So rode the jr kart which makes he’s knees hurt because he too tall. So then we go to the swings and plane area. We pushed the button for an attendant; waited 20 min and no one came. So I go inside to speak with an manger to speak with a young inexperienced manager who has no customer service. Then I asked for corporate number he gives me a key name Mina cell phone number 3109628476 quick goes to voicemail. He states she is out of town. If most of the rides are broken why sale unlimited wrist bands. Overall people don’t waist your money. # ripped off

I visited Camelot this past Saturday 2/27/21. I paid $40 for two wristbands to spend time with my niece. As we started mini golf on course one, I saw a homeless man in the park walking towards me and slipped through the gate to my left. There is a motel next to the park and it seems that the homeless have bent the bars, giving them access to the park. I passed around one of the castles on the course and saw the door open, filled with trash, two chairs, cigarette butts, signs and graffiti. Other customers also noticed this and peeked in for themselves. This is an unsafe environment for children. There are bums hiding in the mini golf course! The park should be secured and parents should have ease of mind when taking their children to a family theme park such as Camelot. On another note. We had arcade cards and nearly half of the arcade games were off or out of order. We got the wristband to spend the day and spent a total of 2 hours. The place needs a lot of work. Would absolutely not recommend to take children with homeless people invading the park. Absolutely disturbing.

Bakersfield is a city surrounded by many other smaller cities and I am assuming the combined population of all these places is nearing 500,000. There is NOTHING fun to do here, you'd think Camelot would be a lot cleaner and have more attractions that actually worked properly. When this place opened it was fun and clean and something interesting to do. We took my son there a few months back and I was disappointed. Half the games did not work, many of our tokens were taken without the game actually working, there were no staff on the floor to assure games were working and to give replacement tokens when the games ate them. There were many unruly, unattended children within the park, two of which rammed their go kart into the back of a man who was at a dead stop. They hit him so hard that it visibly forced him forward, flung his sunglasses off his face, and when he exited the go kart he was rubbing his neck. Half the go karts sit idle because they do not work. Their used to be a really fun laser tag arena there, but they took it out for unknown reasons. The bumper boats were really the only thing that seemed to be working correctly, but the structure under which you stand to wait in line for them is in need of repair and fresh paint. They had two carnival rides there that were out of commission just sitting in the area meant for outdoor birthday parties and it looked dangerous considering this is a place for families. The inside of the arcade also smells like sweat and body odor and it is extremely expensive to enjoy the rides there. A little updating and a lot of maintenance is long over due. We most likely won't be bringing our kids back until they make some serious changes.

This place has a lot of years on it and it is showing. The miniature golf course needs lots of attention and many of the inside games are broken. This is not a place that I would take my kids.

This place needs to be shut down...Its so very dirty and old. There's always a mess on the floor with food and paper. The employees are rude and will not help you in any way. It's over expensive!

We just spent about 4 hours there. There is plenty to do to keep the kids entertained. They do offer specials so you can go fairly inexpensively. My only issue is that the mini golf course is not well maintained. Also, they need some rides for toddlers. I was unable to let me 2 yr old granddaughter do anything but ride a couple rides inside the arcade. The mini jets and the bumper boats would not allow her on even as a passenger. I told her to be good and she would get to ride the planes with her sister. I got up there and was told she was not tall enough. Poor thing began so quietly cry. So, I promised her a ride on the boats. I found out before we all headed there and had the others slip away. I really didn't couldn't do anything with her there. Fortunately, she was pretty good. So, beware of height requirements if taking little ones. One last suggestion, they really could use more shaded areas outside.

We had a great time this weekend at Camelot. We rode both sets of race cars with the kids. We rode the big ones twice, and they were quite fast. :) We rode the bumper boats, and the wife was laughing as I soaked her. We all play mini golf, and had a great time for a low price of $70 for all 4 of us.
