Cherai beach is 90 minutes drive from kochi. The beach is clean and neat to travel with friends and family. Cherai beach resort and club mahindra resorys are the popular resorts in that area , there are lots of other small restaurants near by.

Clean and beautiful beach. Little far from kochi main city but worth visiting. I completely loved it there, amazing scenery.

If you are planning a beach holiday in kerala, My second suggestion will be cherai ( First choice is definitely Varkala). Clean but crowded beach. You will get nice options there for stay/food and fun activities. Recommended!!
