Well maintained place with strict rules of no loitering and sitting for prolonged period of time. Which means it’s good because there won’t be much human pollution.

Not much to see actually, just there to appreciate the silence and peace in the midst of the busy city traffic.

Green, cool and peaceful environment. You'll feel nostalgic and thoughtful. Not a big place but clean and quiet.

.....a place of quite contemplation, a place that reminds of the famous lines of Winston Churchill "Never was so much owed by so many to so few". The enormity of the sacrifice and the diversity of people united by a cause ridicules the divisiveness if today’s global political landscape.

I visit War Grave Cemeteries whenever possible, this one was well maintained and is a credit to the staff who care for it. I placed poppies on the graves of the New Zealand Soldiers graves.

The cemetery is beautifully kept with row after row of gravestones for mostly very young men - British, African, Canadian, Australian, Indian - who died during WWII. It is quite touching to read the inscriptions and the ages of most of the fallen soldiers. I was glad to see that soldiers of all Commonwealth (British Empire at that time nations were buried together although no ages or inscriptions were provided for the non-European soldiers.

This cemetery was established to show the honour for the soldiers and others who died in World War II. The cemetery was created by the British Army, and there were originally about 400 burials. Graves have since been transferred to this cemetery from the Lushai Hills (Assam) and other isolated sites, and from Chittagong Civil Cemetery; Chandragona Baptist Mission Cemetery; Chiringa Military Cemetery; Cox's Bazar New Military and Civil (Muhammadan) Cemeteries; Chittagong (Panchalaish) Burial Ground; Dacca Military Cemetery; Demagiri Cemetery; Dhuapolong Muslim Burial Ground; Dhuapolong Christian Military Cemetery; Dohazari Military and R.A.F. Cemeteries; Jessore Protestant Cemetery; Khulna Cemetery; Khurushkul Island Christian and Muhammadan Cemeteries; Lungleh Cemetery (Assam); Nawapara Cemetery (Assam); Patiya Military Cemetery, Rangamati Cemetery; Tejgaon Roman Catholic Cemetery; Tumru Ghat Military Cemetery and Tumru M.D.S. Hospital Cemetery.

I go to this place very often, it's very close by my house. Nice neat and clean place. One of the best park in Chittagong (though it's a park cum grave yard) with green grass and well maintained trees. Best to go with family.
They don't allow professional photography. And please maintain the cleanliness.
