Wonderful historical place filled with history. Very quiet and no one visits so you do have the whole place to yourself! Very nice hippodrome and although not well maintained, things are left in tact. Take care when walking down the stairs.

A definite must while in Lebanon. The history here is amazing. To walk through this UNESCO World Heritage site and explore the ruins is just incredible. The history of the Romans, Phoenicians and Byzantines is all around you. Truly is a must do.
