You can park by the church. It's on the west side of town on Via Sant’Egidio 2. On the left side of the church, a small walking road cuts through fairly steep rock cliffs on each side with numerous caves/storage areas embedded in the tufa rock. This part of the walk lasts maybe 150m. It's a nice walk but there's lots of rubbish and litter scattered all around. This certainly detracts from the enjoyment of the walk. It then opens up into a field and soon you'll see a small Roman bridge. Very nice. A little further along is a water fall. Also very nice. We turned around at this point. We didn't see any wild donkeys but we walk that far -- maybe 300m and back again. It was an enjoyable stroll but marred by too much litter in the cave area.

It is a very well maintain area with historical sites before the romans and unique botanic species. I do advice to go for lunch to "Il Ragno Rosso" restaurant.
