A little out of the way but worth a stop.

We went out of the way to stop here. Parking was kind of cramped but we got lucky as someone was pulling out so we snagged their spot. Beach is pretty small by the areas standards... read more

We visited on a Thursday, out of main season and the local bar was not open. The beach is easily accessible but with limited parking spaces and has good paved paths to the bar, play area and the hermitage Santa Justa.

We went out of the way to stop here. Parking was kind of cramped but we got lucky as someone was pulling out so we snagged their spot. Beach is pretty small by the areas standards but comes with a beautiful view. Not good for swimming as it is pretty rocky. The Ermita is up a path to the right... More

Great for a picnic or, as we did, just a rest from driving. Lovely views and very peaceful. Not sure I could find it again if I were back!

This cove has a small restaurant and lovely coastal walks. The beach is only suitable for walking on at low tides and due to the large waves we did not risk swimming at high tide.

Excellent, quaint village with quiet evenings. Medieval streets, architecture and great food. Visit the zoo and museum of Altimra too

We went to the Ermita at sunset (around 7PM), which coincided with high tide. It was really cool to see the waves hit the little house and the sound of the sea was beautiful. This made our visit, as the Ermita itself is pretty to look at but does not take up an entire hour or so to visit.

Stumbled across this playa, very pretty, not a beach for swimming, but lovely coastal views. Small cafe there, food good, large picnic area.

This little hermitage is just visible between the rocks at Santa Justa. A nice drive down to this tiny bay - did't attempt to climb to the church.
