Its a nice little historic train but the journey to Palma follows the road for much of the way so you can see most of the same scenery by car or bus. Half of the section not by the main road is in tunnels so...More
We used the train from Palma to go to Soller. It takes about an hour to get there, the views from the train are spectacular - it’s even got a halt so people can get off briefly to take photos! Soller itself is worth a...More

I don’t know where in Palma you get the train to Soller as we took it from the small village Bunyola - but we met people who had been riding the train from Palma. So it’s possible, have you tried to google it and by the way the tram in Soller is a different ride, that will take you from the train station to the port. When we were there it was very hot, and there was a lot of people in the noisy tram, so we were happy we didn’t spend money on it and instead walked around in our own pace!
