Very beautiful and nice place. Learning interesring things about oranges, limes etc. Close to “nature feeling”. Nice tapas and orange juice. Spectatural views to the mountains. The best oranges we ever had. 👍

What an absolute gem this was! We love to learn things about each place we travel and this was a great place to learn more about more traditional ways of making oil.
We had luckily timed it right for us to see the start of the production of olive oil making and what a fascinating process it is!
Thank you for a wonderful experience

The building here is the star, a beautiful example of early 20th C Spanish architecture, with tiled floors , glazed wooden doors in panelled rooms. The art was not to our taste, but, my, the building......

Finding such a museum effectively in the station at Soller was a treat. Better still it was free entry! It is a small but interesting collection of ceramics by the great artist, which one rarely sees. Definitely worth spending a little while here when in Soller.

Beautiful building with lovely interior and an exterior surrounded by a bustling square with many cafes/restaurants. A wooden tramway crosses the place from time to time, adding a special touch to this pictural image.

A tranquil and pleasant though not spectacular garden. For those walking from Soller beware that GPS might take you to the rear entrance gate which is locked. You have to enter on the main gate which is on a busy road.

It was an early winter morning, when I was at Sollér's Plaça Constitució ready for a beautiful day hike. The plane trees at the square had lost their leaves and the cafés were still closed, but what did strike me the most were the facades of two buildings next to each other: the church of Sant Bartomeu (St. Bartholomew) and the Banco de Sollér (now Banco Santander).

There were similarities in the architecture, especially in the rustic appearance of the stone walls. Not surprisingly it was the same architect responsible for it: Joan Rubió from Barcelona, a disciple of Antonio Gaudi. Although the church with its big rose window has neo-gothic elements both buildings are examples of modernista architecture, of Catalan art nouveau.

The church facade dates from 1904, while the bank was finished in 1912. There is an information board by the bank in Catalan only. Special attention here goes to the double balcony in the corner and the intricate ironwork in the arched windows.

This little chapel is just outside Fornalutx and Soller and is worth a visit if in the area

It has to be one of the most unique buildings on the island, although locked so you can't enter you can see inside from the doorway, the inside looks as though it is made of stalactites and the outside is just as incredible

It was quite a walk, uphill, to the tower but the views once you got there were superb. Should you decide to tackle this walk, make sure to carry water. The tower isn't open so you're simply going there to experience the views down into Puerto Soller and along the cliff facing shoreline.

A pleasant place to spend some beach time. Good shops, clean and clear water, plenty of restaurants. A little walk along the shore will permit you a grand view of the lighthouse and naval space pinnacling the beach cove.
Would consider staying here in the future if visiting the west of the island.
Easy and cheap car parking is available in the port multi-storey.

Good walking trail traversing much of the area. We enjoy the quiet rural beauty and the animals we saw along the way.

Had a padel lesson with Davide. €50 for the hour. He spoke excellent English. Very enjoyable and he put me through my paces.

Nice club, couple of older padel courts with concrete walls (nice bit of history) and some new glass walled courts. I trained on the concrete walled court as I hadn’t had the opportunity to play on such a court previously. It’s quite different.

They have tennis courts as well. Busy but not rammed. Pleasant shaded seating area with small bar. There seems to be no ability for passing tourists to signup to play in ad hoc games. They have a major redevelopment planned for next year.
