The road itself is not so exciting: it's just going up in a twisted way. But the view on the top worth it. From the recreation area you can already see the biggest part of the Formentor peninsular. But if you continue to go down...More

Our lodging in Pollenca has a direct view of the monastery atop the mountain so we had to investigate. We read about the climb up the trail and how long it takes and we also read about the food, but no mention of the Paella...More

Most of the walk is along a good track zig zagging to the top. Good views worth the effort. A cute church at the top and one can sit on a low wall if taking a picnic. Worth it !

Fairly steep 30 minute climb is well worth it for the views from the top. You can see the mountains all the way north to Port Pollença and beyond. A must do if you are staying in or around Pollença.

If you are not fit, you will find this walk extremely difficult! The walk back down is almost as hard as the walk up due to the uneven, loose rocks during the last 15 mins to the top. We took some cat biscuits and at...More

The walk starts on a tarmac route zig zagging up the hill. It’s fairly steep but manageable for all levels of fitness. About 15 minutes from the top the tarmac changes to a cobbled stone path that is quite tricky and could be very sloppy...More

Walk took around 40 minutes from the base of the hill to the Santuari de la Mare de Déu des Puig at the summit (around 50 minutes from the centre of Pollença). Quite steep in places with slightly uneven footing towards the top. The summit...More

It took us around an hour to climb up (we're fairly fit) and we were taking our time capturing the sights as we ascended. Fantastic views once a the top, and a small monastery with cafe and rooms to let if required! Despite the effort...More

This a must , park or get off the bus and walk up the very windy road to the monastery at the top . Marvel at the views such a reward for your efforts as this is a very steep hard walk .
