Great vistas of Luarca, the sea and the 'city of the dead'. Local Nobel prize winner Severo Ochoa is buried here. It is really worth the walk up and down the hill around the chapel & lighthouse.

Beautiful place to visit, but you are not alone, since touringcars also make it a stop.
The graves and the sea in the background make it a perfect picture

on the elevated point facing the crashing ocean, all in white, absolutely breathtaking! Do not miss walking all through it.

This is an easy walk up to the overlook and cemetery. Wonferful views out sea and back into town. Unique grave markers to explore. There is a dedicated pedestrian path up to the point. Nice.

It sits below the church and both overlook the harbor and the town. All the graves, etc. are white and quite stunning.

Without comparing with Buenos Aires or Milan but just for its location you have to see it.
There are illustrious illustrious people who will continue to see the sea from their grave

Beautiful cemetery, haven of peace and incredible views of the sea. It is very well cared for. Luarca itself is wonderful.

We had bad luck with the day, rain and wind. Surely that made the visit less impressive than expected. The views and the location are magnificent, but the cemetery itself, we expected better given its fame. We were a little disappointed.
