1798 Rebellion Centre was very interesting and well worth the visit. Very kind and helpful staff on the day of our visit. It inspired us then to visit the Fr Murphy Exhibition and Vinegar Hill that afternoon. All 3 well worth the trip.

We arrived here after climbing Vinegar Hill. We were met by a very cheery lady, who explained that the tour was self guided and what it entailed. It was good value for money and very well laid out.

Female receptionist is definitely a people person. Each room area has the right amount of information to keep you alert and motivated to learn more. Sets the Irish conflict within the American and French conflicts. Interactive in areas. Necessary to see this before visiting Vinegar...More

This is a great addition to the town. Good free parking and a good little cafe. You can get a discounted ticket if you also wish to visit Enniscorthy Castle. The exhibition itself is quite good and they have done their utmost to impart the...More

The 1798 Rebellion Center does a very thorough job of explaining how the American and French revolutions influenced the Irish to rise up and fight for independence from Britian's heavy hand of occupation. Murals and videos portray patriots from around County Wexford who bravely rallied...More

Informative but in need of updating. Volume of narrator too low in parts. Text difficult to read in many places. Very informative however and we stayed til the end. Blacksmith visual narrator was good. Some of the exhibitions were excellent.

Sorry for delay in replying. Cross the river and climb steep road towards castle. Follow signs for New Ross and in half a mile you'll see a sign to turn sharp right and you're there
