This isn't the most elegant dining room, but the food is good, plentiful, and not over-expensive. If you go on a Wednesday or Sunday evening you will be able to enjoy the excellent experience of listening to local musicians who gather to enjoy playing, rather than just putting on a performance for visitors. An open fire, a glass of Guiness, and some traditional Irish music - what could be a better way to spend a cold January evening?!

We were there for New Years Eve 2019. Gary, the owner, gave us a ride from our place. Great food, drinks, music and a wonderful time.

Looked promising. Ordered roast lamb this evening and inedible. Lamb was black and extremely tough. Unfortunately no acknowledgement from the proprietor. Disappointing to say the least.

The Irish stew and music made for a delightful evening. Pepper himself picked us up at the East Clare Village where we were staying. Truly customer and tourist focused and a friendly Irish pub!

Our group of 4 were staying at Kiltannon Home Farms and were picked up and taken to Peppers Pub for dinner and music. The dinner was absolutely amazing...one of the best meals we had during our trip. The music was delightful and very entertaining! We highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of a night out at Peppers a few years ago now. Apart from a traditional Irish ambience we enjoyed a great meal, and it was topped off by some fantastic Irish music. Vincent Griffin on the fiddle was a highlight. Might be a bit off the beaten track, but well worth it!

We spent a week in County Clare and visited Pepper's Pub three times during our visit. We had read about Pepper's Pub prior to getting to Ireland and knew that we wanted to include a visit during our stay. We arrived late to our self-catering farm house and had not ate since early in the day. Upon check in, we explained to our host that we had yet to eat and she suggested Pepper's Pub for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that Gary, the owner, was willing to pick the six of us up and deliver us to the front door. Wow, what a way to begin our trip! Between the great food, excellent service and the amazing people we met, we could not ask for a better time! We went back on Sunday for live music and again on Wednesday for more traditional music. Each time was as great as the last! Pepper's Pub and the outstanding people who work there have definitely left a lasting impression with all of us. We can't wait to get back there again!

The welcoming atmosphere and Aine, our server. Beautiful outdoor seating. We had been here years before and had to come back for a second visit.

It's typical Irish pub food, although upgraded. The night we were there if was full of locals which speaks well of the food. If you are visiting be sure to ask the waitstaff for recommendations of places to visit in the area. Also go on a night when they are having music.
