We traveled here three times during our holiday. Its a nice sized beach with facilities (sunbeds, showers and Tavernas). The swimming is very easy as it's a nice bay with clearly marked swimming areas. I struggle with a bad back and I could get in...More

Damnoni is very popular so be sure there early to grab a parking space! There are lots of sun beds (payable) and a row of tavernas along the beach. Fabulous place to relax.

Damnoni beach was a nice place and also good for snorkling. Cheap beds and sun umbrellas; 6 € per set. Very cost beach in the south of Crete. And a nice place to have lunch.

This half kilometre stretch of beach is clean and nice to visit. The water is calm (most the time, despite the wind!) and there are some nice taverners just beside the beach if you get hungry! Between them they do breakfast lunch and dinner. There...More

No exactly (it is one inside the hotel which is there, Hapimag). But the nearest are in Plakias (and also in Lefcogia village in the way to Rethimno). Both are about five minutes with car.
